Although I've eaten at other BonChon locations before, I was not expecting too much from this one as it was in the mall and it was just a quick pitstop for me.

The soy garlic wings were better than expected: they were crispy on the outside but also juicy on the inside, which is a warm welcome from other dry wings I've gotten from similar places. The seasoned fries, however, were slightly disappointing. While they smelled really good, and even continued...

I ordered:
5 spicy drumsticks (the portion is huge)
I was only able to finish 3 and saved 2 for later.

I am so happy to see a Bon Chon closer to the rego park/Elmhurst area than going out to the city or flushing to get my fried chicken fix.
I thoroughly enjoyed the drumsticks but was very disappointed by the coleslaw.
After one bite I had to throw it away. It was dry with minimal/dried-up sauce and the cabbage itself smelled...

Honestly, some of the best wings I think I've ever had. It's been a while since I've had some good korean food, and while this doesn't compare to authentic Korean cuisine, it's a good substitute. I got the spicy wings, and they were DELICIOUS. I came across this place by complete accident while shopping and I plan on coming back next time I shop in the mall!
