We stopped here for a quick bite to eat for lunch. I had pescado tacos, which had battered tilapia, pickled cabbage, cilantro, chipotle mayo, and lettuce. It was good and very flavorful, but a bit too spicy for me. My husband had the Vegan Kale quinoa salad and added grilled chicken. The salad consisted of black beans, kale, pico de gallo, corn, avocado, quinoa, and bell peppers with tomatillos lime vinaigrette. The salad was so good and the vinaigrette made it taste even better.

Visited this restaurant in the late evening when it wasn’t too busy, and the atmosphere was very relaxed. I tried to order a beer I liked from the menu but was told the menu was outdated. I settled for a different beer, which was just okay, but it took an unusually long time to arrive.
I ordered the Walnut Cranberry Salad, which looked fresh, but it was completely drenched in balsamic vinaigrette—so much so that it overpowered the dish. When we finished eating, the waitress (who was very friendly) cleared everyone’s plates except mine, leaving me sitting in front of the unfinished salad for nearly 30 minutes.
We later ordered the cinnamon sugar churros, which tasted fine, but again, the wait was excessive. Even settling the check took longer than expected.
Overall, the atmosphere was nice and the staff was friendly, but the service needs improvement. I’d recommend updating the menu, going lighter on the vinaigrette, and working on faster service delivery.

While the spot has a homey, unique decor, and the staff were very nice, it took about 15 minutes to receive a tap beer I ordered (there was maybe one other table at the time, and 3 or 4 staff members standing around the bar area). The Banh Mi came surrounded by bread that was very soggy (it may as well have been Wonder bread at that point), which takes away from the whole concept of a Banh Mi with toasted bread, but it was still tasty. Also, on a day that was well into the 80s, the air con was barely existent, and it was pretty sticky and uncomfortable in the restaurant. I doubt I would return with so many better dining options around NYC.

Decent place, a wide variety of food. it was all good and if you are in the area and they have a seat try it out. no need to make a special trip there though.
Everything was amazing. Burger, chicken sandwich, even the fresh Arnold Palmer. Would def come back

The friendliness and politeness of the people who greet guests is invaluable! This restaurant has a special atmosphere filled with care and comfort. You never want to leave this place. Went in to check out the menu, the hostess / waitress greeted us like we were a burden. When we saw the menu and decided against it, she said “good, we don’t have time for trash right now.” Her attitude completely ruined the vibe of the restaurant.
