Super aesthetically pleasing interior with floral walls and dark green chairs. It's not a huge space but it's well thought out. Had the hibiscus margarita and the spicy Paloma, both refreshing drinks. The vegan cauliflower with pesto dish is a favorite. For entree, I had the surf and turf burrito. It came with a side salad. I did not have room for dessert but they had churros on the menu which I will have to try next time. Service was quick and the food came out pretty quickly.

Had a reservation at 7:30. Walked in at 7:20 and they told us they have to cancel our reservation because they were too busy. We walked out and then the same guy called us to give us our "notice" that they had to cancel our reservation.

This was an okay spot for a casual dinner with a friend. There is a fun decorated wall by the bar and the decor is overall cute. It's a small space in general, and the tables are quite small. It was a very tight squeeze with two plates for entrees and one appetizer plate. I wouldn't rate it as low as 3/5, but there are some room for improvements here. My friend reported her pulled pork sandwich was dry and some pieces had a burnt taste. I ordered the Buttermilk Crispy Chicken burger. I was surprised by how thin the chicken slices were. There were two different chicken slices in the sandwich, and my friend said it well: they were more like chicken cutlets on bread. Because they were thin they were crispy, yes, but also dry. I did like the coleslaw and sauce though. The dish came with waffle fries, which were okay. I wonder how fresh they were... they definitely didn't taste homemade, and sorry to be picky but they didn't allow for a pretty presentation on the plate. Just a sandwich and a scattered pile of french fries. My friend and I also shared an appetizer of spring rolls which were okay. It's an interesting menu with a lot of different options from different cuisines, which means there is something for everyone!! But also it makes it confusing to the customer what Carla's story is, and the backstory behind their menu selection.

What a charming, lovely (and delicious!) spot with good vibes and excellent service. We enjoyed ALL of our food. We were scraping the bowl on the guacamole.Such a delightful surprise and highly recommend for families, friends, and couples. Great vibes all around.Kid-friendliness: Has a kids menu with something for all palates and fun "cubes" for the kids water.

I had a lovely brunch at Carla LIC on Sunday celebrating my bday with friends and family. The food was tasty and they had vegan options. Our server Pablo was FANTASTIC. He was attentive with our orders but most importantly he had a beautiful spirit that shined each time he came to our table! This is a very small restaurant with great ambiance and music.

I really don't understand the 5 star reviews about the tacos. Sure the filling is good (not great: no pico, guac, cheese or sc) but mine came wrapped in 2 store-brand grade RAW corn tortillas. My brother in christ you charge $6 per taco please do something with your corn tortilla. I could go to Chipotle, spend the same money to get a full burrito (much more food) and bet that shell wouldn't be raw.The gf got a $17 salad and her comment was "this is why I don't get salads eating out".. oofAlso when we walked in 20min before closing on a fri the staff looked at us like i was Bigfoot before insisting that we get food to-go. There were 2 seated tables. If you want to close at 9:30, change your hours and close, nbd. This place feels like a trendy-decorated counterserve that just happens to have a wall between the food prep and the dining room, and the food prices kicked up 20%.. quite overrated at 4.7

We stopped in for dinner before seeing a show. We were hosting a friend who hardly comes into Manhattan. We chose Carla for its off the beaten path location and laid back ambience. Our waiter (and the whole restaurant!) were so inviting. The great service + food added to the great company.

The food was good and so was the service but the price was ridiculous, especially for the location.

Food was delicious and served fast. We had shrimp tacos, the land and sea burrito, a corn and shrimp salad and the jambalaya. All four dishes were good. Fair prices as well. Will definitely be back.

Cute, Chic restaurant with great music, vibes, and decor. Small space, but would be great for a date or small party. Cocktails are excellent and the menu is a concise, smart American/ Vietnamese fusion menu with very tasty food. I ordered the Chicken Bahn-Mi and it actually exceeded my expectations as far as seasoning, moisture, texture, and portion. My girlfriend got a really really good veggie burger and some delicious waffle fries. Fun spot!

Our party of six had mixed reviews about the food. Half of them loved it, the rest not so much. Service was a bit slow and we received our entrees at two different times so by the time everyone had their food the first group's food was no longer hot. There was a large party seated next to us that may have impacted the service, so I'd give them another try.

A small, cozy, adorable little restaurant and the one server was extremely friendly and attentive. Albeit, a strange eclectic menu as there seemed to be no focal point but there seemed to be something for everyone. I was very happy with my shrimp Po' boy as it had the perfectly toasted bread, not too hard, not too soft, a good ratio of filling to bread, of course I could always use more shrimp but it was the usual amount. They had this mustard based remoulade that was spectacular! That was what put the sandwich over the top. The burger wasn't anything special. It was well cooked but tasted like something I make at home. My husband wasn't impressed. We did enjoy the onion rings but we can't tell if they were home made or not. I would definitely get the Po' boy again if in the area.

What a delightful neighborhood find. Lots to choose from on the Mexican leaning menu. Individual and sharing options. Larger portions. Everything was delicious including the martinis. Good for a date or a group.
