My Friend snd I had wonderful lunch of soup and salad on 4/20, the second to last day Chez Olivia was open. With so many clients enjoying their cuisine, their greedy landlord should not have demanded such an unreasonable rent increase, causing them to close. Karina NYC
I went to the sister restaurant a few times and was satisfied with the food so wanted to give this one a try. Unfortunately, food was disappointing. Steak was soft but wasn't cooked to preference. It was also super salty. On the other hand, Bronzino lacked salt. It also lacked flavor. I've never had Bronzino as fishy; did not taste fresh at all. French onion soup was great and the baked Brie was tasty as well. Service was decent. Ambiance was okay.

My chicken confit with mashed potatoes and garlic gravy and veggies was „magnifique“ as always. Moussa answered all my questions and prepared the gift certificate I requested. Another fabulous outing at Chez Olivia!

My friend and I enjoyed our steak and bœuf bourguignon with ample sauce, and Moussa easily allowed us to change the vegetables on the menu to some others that we preferred. As always, we enjoyed our fabulous French food. C'était un repas magnifique! Karina
I have been there several times and always the food and service is excellent. Food is so well prepared. My last visit was for Valentines Day and service was slower but the restaurant was full for several hours and staff really hustled to serve everyone. Food was delicious as always.
Had an early Valentine's Day dinner there and everything was fantastic (food, service, ambiance). The appetizers and entrees we ordered were delicious and there was so much more on the menu that we want to try on future visits. The mojitos were also top notch, good mint flavor and not too sweet. New to the neighborhood so love having this close by. Will definitely be coming back!
The food here is amazing every time. The escargots, steak tartare, onion soup, steak frites, and boeuf bourguignon make me want to come back every time. The staff is friendly and the desserts are delicious. Specially the profiteroles. Best French flavors in the area.

This was a charming, friendly place for an impromptu date night on a chilly Saturday evening. My partner had the boeuf bourguinon and a mint lemonade and enjoyed them both. I had a kir royale as an aperitif, and moved on to the cassoulet special and a glass of Côtes du Rhône. Loved the cassoulet - just right for the weather - though it was pretty salty (I know the sausages, confit and everything make cassoulet a salty dish, but this was out of balance.) Perfectly creamy beans and a nice garlicky broth. We couldn't manage dessert but I had a very nice espresso.

I went to this place to celebrate a birthday with family and everything from start to finish was amazing. Sam, our waiter went above and beyond to make this day special. The food was great and the portion was perfect. Sam also gave my family and I some free dessert and drink to toast for the special day. I couldn’t thank the staff enough. We also met maria who we had great conversations with. You won’t regret going there.

Lovely place. Very inviting on a cold winter's eve. I think the boeuf borguignon was the hit, but the salade niçoise seemed to be a close second. Service was cheerful, welcoming, and excellent overall.
Absolutely perfect dinner from start to finish. Amazing and overly hospitable service. Would recommend to anyone looking for a good date spot or just to have a memorable dinner with family or good friends. Can't wait to go back!
My Friend had steak frites, and I had the chicken the way the French prepare it so well. We both requested different vegetables from those on the menu, and Moussa accommodated these requests well plus served us a delicious raspberry crepe for my friend's Birthday. We had good service snd great Food and will be back to Chez Olivia soon. Karina
