I ordered so many times from this place and the last 2 the food just was not the same. I ordered a mix bbq and chose a medium picanha and it was well done. Food also wasn’t warm at all! Unfortunately not ordering again!

Love coming here for lunch, fresh meats from the rotisserie cut on sight to your choosing. The prices are reasonable as the food is set up in a buffet style where you pay per pound. I spent 30$ including a drink, highly recommend the top sirloin, unbeatable in flavor. May have to wait til 12 if you come at opening time and prefer well done, I had mine at medium. I love their potato salad, maduros, and spinach lasagna. They have fresh fruits and salads as well. The atmosphere is casual and cozy and not pretentious or uncomfortable, so I enjoy dining in. Great place to go to and close to subway.

If you've been away from Brazil for a long time, this is the place you should eat. It's exactly like a Brazilian buffet restaurant! Food is wonderfully good!!

I’ve been going to the Copacabana for over 20 years. I always loved the place, the food was delicious. Yesterday I was there for takeout. The food was terrible, I didn’t even eat all the food I got. What a disappointment. I don’t know if they have a new cook. But right now I do not feel like going back again

Paid $42 for me and my boyfriend, they gave me a piece of meat That was so tough Everything else was good. I also don’t think she removed the weight from my plate but it wasn’t bad. If I’m honest, I think that the mashed potatoes and heavy items like that, are a waste because they rack up the price. Their hot sauce is good, however, if I’m being honest the amount of food we got it was not worth the price . It was tasty, but I think you have to be more smart about it than I was maybe just one plate with sides and one plate with meat . Also, once I left the bathroom, a homeless man was standing in front of our table which was a little concerning

I recently revisited Copacabana, a restaurant I've held in high regard since my first encounter in 2007 while working on a nearby independent film. This establishment once captivated me and my fellow crew members with its culinary charm, compelling us to return on multiple occasions throughout the years. However, my latest experience was a stark departure from the cherished memories of past visits. The centerpiece of my meal, the meat, was a far cry from the succulent, flavor-packed delight I anticipated, it came with a $50 dollar price tag ?. It was reminiscent of overdone beef jerky—lacking in taste, tough to chew, and devoid of the tenderness that one would expect from rotisserie cooking. This was a surprising disappointment, as I had always associated Copacabana with expertly prepared, mouth-watering dishes that celebrated the vibrancy of Brazilian cuisine. Now, in the early hours of the morning, my stomach is in turmoil, a stark reminder of the meal's disappointing turn. The investment in what I hoped would be a delightful dining experience has left me with regret. In light of this, I would have to give Copacabana a rating of one out of five, with the hope that this is a temporary lapse in quality and not a permanent decline. A return to the original recipes and cooking techniques that once made this restaurant a favorite would be a welcome change.

This place is great if one is looking for a variety of two different types in a cuisine. They have BBQ + Buffet and Buffet + Salad bar. Their salad bar and the buffet is quite okay and has a good spread. The BBQ has steaks and can be made to your liking. The portion-size or its weight dictates the price, however, the staff over there are not too strict and that's a good thing. Free soft drinks to go. Price is reasonable at $11.99 & $10.99 respectively.Nice cosy place with business-like table and chairs and they also have take aways.

I've been going to this place for many years. Unfortunately the quality of food isn't the same. The medium rare meat is chewy with no flavor whats so ever. Not worth the price anymore, you're better off finding better quality meat and table service for the prices they're charging. It was once a great place and now just fading away.

This is a no frills but authentic Brazilian restaurant. There is a self serve buffet where you help yourself and you are charged based on the weight. The buffet includes selections such as feijoada, farofa, chicken, spaghetti, rice and beans, hard boiled eggs, and many more. There is a large salad bar area too with a good mix of vegetables. The feijoada is a must try.And for a little extra money, you can get grilled churrascaria meats such as steak, sausage and chicken. I thought the sausage was especially tasty. I have been to other Brazilian places in Queens that are similar such as Aroma and Villa Brazil. Like some of the other places, some of the buffet selections here seemed a little old and dry but it's to be expected from a buffet. Overall, you still get good value for your money.
