If you are looking to reward your mouth with something very tasty and delicious, there is no better place to visit than Delightful Bakery and Café on Grand Avenue in Queens. A dear friend (see photo) who spoke highly of the owner introduced me to the bakery. As a fanatical cheese Danish lover, it was my logical first pick along with a medium coffee, light with half and half and two sugars. The coffee was spot on, and the Danish was outstanding, with a generous amount of cheese nestled inside the soft, well-glazed pastry. It was a meal by itself. I can’t wait to test drive some of the other oven-baked creations on my next visit. If you are struggling with blood sugar issues and want to give yourself a well-deserved taste treat, this is the place to visit. Be sure to bring a trusted friend or a ton of self-control... you will need it. Remember to eat responsibly.

Maybe I caught them in a bad day but the cupcakes and eclairs were not good at all. The whipped cream was as hard as a rock. The frosting on the cupcakes was like gelatin.

Not only where they exactly what we wanted and delicious they went above and beyond to be so helpful. excellent attitude and great customer service. the cupcakes were a hit and out of 60 we had 0 by the end of the party!. definetly recommend!!

Found my new favorite place ! The chicken and beef empanada was a 10/10 and paired with that semi spicy red sauce was delightful. I paired my empanada with an Inka Kola. The customer service was beyond and the chef/baker was coming in and out with freshly baked cakes for wholesale. I definitely will be coming back here for their desserts.

Came here for some ice coffee and Apple turnover. Was waiting for bike to be serviced across the street at GBC. Good spot to relax a bit with leather lounge seats. Easy access on corner with plenty of parking. This bakery has a large assortment of pastries & desserts. The owner is friendly and quite welcoming. Empanadas & other snacks are available.
