I been here couple of times with my grandparents. The service is horrible. Our last visit we got served foul and sour tasting sticky rice, wrapped in Lotus leaf. We complained to the manager instead of apologizing she said that's how it supposed to taste either you take it or leave it! I was shocked at the response. We left right after and mean cashiers lady at the register was yelling at this tiny little elderly grandma that's trying to pay with dollars and coins. Cashier with her angry ugly witch face was upset simply because she didn't want to take the coins. Craziness! I couldn't bear it so I yelled back at her and told her she's being disrespectful and nasty. Money is money no matter if it's coins or bills. You'll have to take it. Why are you so nasty with elderly customers!? How would someone treat your grandma that way!?! I'm seriously boycotting this nasty place.

Some of the seafood was not fresh. The wait staff was grumpy. The bathroom was disgusting.

Just meh for dim sum. Typical large restaurant on second floor with the usual dim sum and special order menu. You have to fight to get what you want. Only one cart lady was lovely, the rest couldn't care if you starved and the same is true if the waiters. Why even bother?

Will alcohol be provided at the wedding? Or do you wholesale it yourself?

The women took my order are rude. I asked her the price in English. She kept yelling something. I ask for 1 lbs roast pork. She gave me roast pig and charge me for 20 and change. The seafood noodle, lots of noodle and 1 shrimp, half scallop, 3 small piece of sque and 3 oil veg. Disappointed The worst is after I ate some noodle. I got so sleep. I lock out in bed like lighting. I ate other place i never feel sleepÿ. I will not order from this place. The men works behind the place a way better service than those two women.

I usually go here for their all you can eat buffet but I think that's no longer so we decided to go to the restaurant section of this place. The entrance was confusing as you had to pass the kitchen in order to get to the dining area. Mostly large tables, some private rooms and very noisy. There was also a fish tank with dangerous crabs, lobsters, and of course fish. The dishes are not stingy in portions, quite tasty with a nic display. I don't recall how many dishes we ordered but it was reasonable since we were 11 strong, maybe the bill was $500 before tip/tax. I would go back but on a weekday versus the weekend as it was just too noisy

Decent food, terrible customer service - many employees force you to tip.

If I could not give it even one star, I would choose not to give it! You have to go through the back door to drink tea, so queuing up is fake! After queuing for more than an hour, the foreman said that the people brought by the manager had priority, so why did they ask us to queue? Everyone's time is limited...that's too much

Great place for authentic dim sum. We loved everything we ordered. They were very accommodating for baby in stroller. The carts are very popular so if you want something you might have to get up to get it. Would recommend

Like other Chinese restaurants, this place offers party-sized platters at 3x a dish pricing. We ordered and paid for a few such platters for my son's 2nd birthday party two days ahead of the event and got a receipt with the date and time for pickup that we selected marked on the receipt. Not only were the platters completely undersized for the amount of orders we placed, the staff completely dropped the balloon having the order ready for the time we specified. They didn't even put in the order until we showed up with the receipt asking for our order. When we voiced our displeasure at having made our party guests wait for the food, the staff not only refused to apologize, they even has the gall to bark back at us that the "chef was busy".They were in such a rush to fulfill our order on the spot that they failed to pack the mayo for our mayo walnut shrimp, so our guests had to eat bland fried shrimp. I would express extreme reluctance to ever order here again. They are one of the cheapest outfits in town, so that's always appealing, but you really get what you pay for in terms of service, food quality, and portion size.

The price is cheaper than other Cantonese restaurants, and the taste is also very good. There are many old restaurants, and the environment and decoration are not as good as other Cantonese restaurants. Overall, it is not bad!

East Buffet has been around for a long time and used to be a quality location for roast meats, seafood, and dim sum. Place has gone downhill on a recent visit. We were seated in a corner of a private room, and when we asked for a table change, one waiter said he was too busy, and another said it cost money to wash the tablecloth and change the table (???). The food itself was fine, and on the cheaper end, but not worth it considering the horrible service. Cards are accepted.
