Elmhurst and Jackson Heights are known for their many bakeries from different parts of the world. If you lived in the area stretching back 25+ years, these Asian bakeries have been an essential part of your daily morning routine (coffees and bread 🙌). You can never go wrong by popping in and grabbing something that you know was freshly baked, on the run—like what I just did. Let’s not forget to recognize the always friendly staff.

This bakery offers a wide selection of delicious Asian baked goods at very affordable prices. The staff work quickly and efficiently, though service is more straightforward than warm, as English isn’t their first language. The shop is kept clean, and the seating area is often filled with older regulars enjoying conversations over pastries and tea, which adds to the authentic atmosphere. Credit cards are accepted, but note there’s a $10 minimum for transactions.

My sister and I have been to this place and ordered ham and egg buns with milk tea. The food and service were good and amazing. The atmosphere was that there were people there eating, drinking, talking, stocking up the breads, and paying for the things.
