The drinks are good and are fairly priced. The ambiance is okay. There’s always a squatter crowd though so there’s rarely any space to sit and chit chat with a friend over coffee.

The brown butter banana latte is good! Everything was combined nicely and the drink itself was perfectly sweet. The banana taste came in more subtly. I felt I initially taste the brown butter before the banana aftertaste comes through. The cafe itself is really cute and there’s some tables for seating. We also tried the carrot cake which was delicious and the cream cheese frosting was great.

I’ve been to Forest Cafe multiple times and every time I’ve gone, the atmosphere and service has been exceptional. However, I have noticed that everytime I get my drink made by a particular barista, my drink isn’t up to par. I’ve been coming here since it opened, and I haven’t had any issues with drinks before. I thought it was just me, so I asked around and my friends have agreed that when this barista makes their drink it isn’t good either. Unfortunately, this has stopped me from coming to the cafe as often.

I now live in a completely different country and this is still my favorite coffee shop. I didn’t even live in the same neighborhood in Queens as FC and this was still my favorite coffee shop lol. The drinks, the food, the vibes……immaculate. Never had a bad beverage or treat from these guys and doubt I ever will. So much love and care has gone into this place and it 100% shows.

Beautiful cafe but unfortunately this cafe has fallen to the hype.
Way too much ice, too little product and you finish the drink within two sips. It’s a shame because I really loved this cafe but it has lost its quality.

A blessing and a curse, the place is always crowded out the door so if your sitting in it can feel stuffy but at least that means they won't be going out of business :)
