I recently visited Ginza Don in Flushing’s Friendship Shopping Plaza, a cozy spot that specializes in Japanese donburi and small eats. I tried the teriyaki chicken and thinly sliced beef donburi. The presentation was stunning, and the taste was spectacular, although I found it a bit too salty for my liking. Even with the rice and salad, the saltiness made it hard to finish the dish. The takoyaki was beautifully presented and tasted great, but I wished it had a bit more flavor....
The service is very good. The lady who introduced me at the door is very enthusiastic. The chicken legs are very fragrant. But the beef ribs are a bit old. The hot spring eggs can be easily replaced. The small seaweed given is very fresh.
It has been open for a year and I often come here to eat Yami with my friends and classmates.
