Pretty good Fuzhou cuisine restaurant. Come here for your typical peanut noodles, Fuzhou wonton and fish balls. Price has increased but still reasonable overall. They’ve been around for a very long time. Now it’s newly renovated. There are no bathrooms. Pretty much can’t find parking in this area.
I've never tried fuzhounese food before, so my fuzhounese friends recommended this place to me. According to them, this is the place known by every fuzhounese person and is most authentic. I went at around 8pm which was quite late. I got everything my friends told me to try, except the fried oyster pancake since they ran out. Like many of the eateries here, this is no-frills and captures the essence of Fuzhounese cuisine. The restaurant is named after the signature dish, one that every Fuzhounese grew up eating. Simply heartwarming on a frigid day.
