They charged me $18 for one mix over rice. Scam.
$10 chicken over rice.
Probably the best Halal food on Broadway. He is reasonable, friendly, and most importantly, the food is incredible! He even gives you a couple falafels while you wait! The only thing is that you have to catch him because he’s not there all the time.

The food is good but not $12 good. I think they should be more transparent with the prices by showing the prices on the cart.
The person in the cart was also arguing and cursing at a customer.

So I put a 3 for atmosphere, but that's just because it is a food truck. Yeah, don't come here to eat here. The halal food here is absolutely delicious. It's the best I've had in NYC. If you're hungry and in the Astoria area just drop on by. And, the guy who serves there is just a great guy. Much love to you brother. You are doing a great job.

Great platter, nicely seasoned chicken & lamb, it's $12 because he literally PACKS the container with to the brim with meat & 2 falafels (fresh & crispy!). Even the plastic lid was struggling to close

Great food and good portions, but I got ripped off. My friends and I visited last week - I got lamb over rice, one got chicken, another combo. We all paid $12 each. First off, they shouldn't cost the same. Any other halal cart will charge lamb / combo $1-$2 more than chicken. Second off, another friend of mine that went a week before we did - he was charged $9 for chicken over rice. So it's as simple as that. He probably saw new faces and jumped on the opportunity. It's funny, cause I'm never coming back. Hope it was worth the extra $3 you got from me. 👋🤣
Yes, we paid in cash, so no card fee was applied. He just charged $12 cause he thought he could get away with it.

Phenomenal Falafel here! It looks like a regular halal food cart which are all over NYC, but make no mistake, this one is special. The falafel recipe at this place is so very good! Great friendly service too! Do yourself a favor and go get some today!!!

Super delicious food and even better service! I was walking back home today and decided to stop by for a quick bite to go. He recommended me different options on the menu and I decided on the lamb over rice. My pictures are not great but the taste was phenomenal. Rice was super aromatic, the lamb was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The falafel was the true star of the show though, SO fresh. He gave me one extra to try while I waited and also gave me an extra bag after seeing me struggling to carry everything + my groceries, making this little stop a nice and wholesome part of my day. I’m very thankful and very full 😋
