Price is increased and portion is half of normal. Called back and they said it’s their standard portion. Two star for the taste.
I used to go here every week, however ever since the taste of food changed... Stopped. Their congee no longer have flavor (no matter which one you get, the base is flavorless). For their breakfast special, they changed the noodle type from egg noodle to rice noodle without telling people at the beginning. (New menu has the rice noodle.)
Their roast pig is either pucker salty or the supposed crispy skin is tough! Char Siu used to be great, look at the pics and you will understand. I got pieces where it is only fat! I end up getting 3x more on fat then meat when I cut it up due to inability to eat it straight up!
The service is a hit and miss. If you get the young man, don't expect any thing unless you wave him down and spell it out! The lady (longer hair) is by far the best. She anticipate your needs and check on you to make sure everything is OK.
Overall, this place changed from a go-to to only go if must!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
I am highly disappointed by the lack of professionalism with this establishment. My fiancé and I tried this restaurant back in May of this year (2024) and we decided we would like to give this place business to cater our engagement party. Restaurants normally require a 3-day notice minimum for large catering orders, which is all well and good. My fiancé and I are planners by nature. We even put down TWO deposits at their request. We left one deposit ($200) and then they called us back saying that since the order is so big, they needed more so we went back with another $200. We ordered all our protein (30 lb. pig, 3 ducks, 3 chicks, and 5 lbs. of char siu PLUS fried rice, chow fun, lo mein, etc.) from them. This bill racked up to more than $2,000, and we were told at ordering that if we order more, we will get a higher percentage off the total bill (we were quoted 15-20% off the bill from the OWNER HERSELF – plus if we paid cash, they said we would not have to pay tax which ended up not being the case).
So, we did that! We added baos and other items the next day. Our party was June 22nd, 2024, we told them this when we placed our order with them in late May/early June. We asked them 10 days, 7 day, 5 days, etc. out from the party for the invoice so we know how much total to bring with us…we got a response at 10:30 pm on June 19th (which is less than 3 days from when we need to pick up our order) confirming our order and telling us that they can only provide a 8% discount (which doesn’t even cover the tax in NYS). All businesses are closed at this point, it’s too late to cancel, and we were stressed out from planning this party. This company dared to put us between a rock and a hard place – they lack any sort of business etiquette, were RUDE and dismissive of us when we spoke with them calmly and explained what was said to us and tried to work with them even though we were blindsided by this invoice.
I will never recommend this restaurant to anyone I meet. What should have been an exciting time for my fiancé and I was ruined by this business’s selfishness and lack of decorum. We ended up canceling everything but the protein since it was too late to have anyone else do that for us. This company also changes its name every couple of years to erase the bad reviews on their Yelp page. So, keep that in mind before you stop in to support this business who thought it was well and good to cheat out customers who would have referred customers and passed out menus/information on the food at our party to over 120 guests.
The owners of this business should be ashamed of themselves!

Can’t believe that it’s low, everyone was friendly, nice and respectful. Lovely bright dragon decorations and nice big comfortable seating. They asked how I would like my food and if I would like any sauce which they provided unlike other busy restaurant where they say no to be done with you. Great parking because you have back free ones and also street parking. Food was delicious got the roast duck and rice. No complaints at all. 10/10 would go again.

Bad attitude. Called for a take out, the woman who answered sound like she doesn't want to do business woth you or feel like I owe her something. When picking up, the woman at the register, probably is the same person and is the boss, had a very bad attitude, like I was not a customer but I robber or something.

Dim sum is not to my liking. I ordered 8 dim sum dishes and all were not the best. It really is so so. I wouldn’t reccomend this spot for it. Also, they have a minimum selection. The noodle soup was good and the crispy roast pork was very good. The egg tart were decent ( I would prefer to go to Flushing bakery instead) The front desk service woman was super nice and kind but the other woman with tattoo on her arm needs to learn to speak with patrons better. I didn’t come in contact with her but saw her in action kind of throwing orders around and being rude.

The food is good, the service is polite and fast. The price is right. It's nice to have a place to go get roast pork in rice without going to Flushing.
It's June 21, there is a heat wave but they didn't turn on the air conditioning. I'm not going back until November.

Excellent cantonese food, small space but mighty food. My 82 year old dad loves the chicken and says its even better than when he goes back to China.
