Still the best sandwich, panini, and crustini eatery in Astoria. I just came back after eating a chicken cutlet and a coconut dream with a hot cup of coffee. Everything was delicious, and this is a must-try recommendation if you are in Astori!
I found this place while strolling around, and I’m so glad I did! The inside feels cozy and traditional — you can even see how they cook the food right on the spot. The staff is super friendly, and the food is delicious. I highly recommend trying the soup; it’s full of flavor and warmth. I also had the grilled chicken panini, and it was really tasty. Definitely worth a visit

I was in the neighborhood and this location popped up. OMG!! This was one of the best sandwiches I have had. I had the love handles sandwich because I wanted something different and man was that a perfect choice. Toasted to perfection. Me and my friend enjoyed it so much. Definitely coming back!

We were wrapped in the special ambiance from start to finish. I've tested many options with consistent results. This place serves incredible food. We entered to a friendly staff greeting. I suggest trying this place.

Food is good but the service is extremely slow. Waited 5 minutes to be seated when it wasn't busy. Waitress was forgetful and got our order wrong. Won't be returning

This place has the best tomato soup in the neighborhood. I wish they offered even more soups, because if they can make something better than their tomato soup, I’d be amazed.
Their paninis and crostinis are also pretty good. Some lean a little greasy, but the flavors are solid and often creative. Overall, it’s a great spot to have nearby if you’re into sandwich-style foods.

I've been meaning to try Il Bambino for years and kicking myself for only finally going in last night for dinner. The space is so lovely. My husband and I sat on the back patio with out little dog. The paninis are HUGE. You totally get your money's worth and they are jam-packed with flavor. We shared the Tree Hugger panini, a fig rosemary goat cheese crostini, and the special broccoli salad. Food and atmosphere were great, but we especially loved our server, Constance! She was so kind, informative, and attentive. 10/10 service and comfort.
Great brunch pannini and intimate atmosphere. Would definitely go back for more.

This is truly one of those hidden gems that you'll appreciate IYKYK. I'm absolutely obsessed with this place--everything on the menu is exceptional. Their paninis are perfectly toasted, delivering just the right crunch and flavor every time.
The real showstoppers, though, are the crostinis. They're beyond incredible! I literally come here just for them, and every single one is a masterpiece. While it's a bit on the pricier side, the quality and flavors make it well worth it.
I highly recommend this spot for breakfast or lunch--you won't regret it! OBSESSED!!!

Paninis are pretty big, we ordered fried to split and I ended up taking half of the panini home for dinner.
Piggie Smalls - loved all the flavors, the sweet acidity of the cherry peppers really compliment the goat cheese and pork
Fries - piping hot fresh and fluffy but nothing to write home about in terms of flavor, instead I'd order a basket of the dirty chips
This spot is great!
Vegetarian friendly and super nice staff.
Exceptionally crafted paninis, had the broccoli vegetarian one and the sweet sausage- both were incredibly delicious. This place has earned my trust to really expect their entire menu to be amazing. Oh and they can make a good cappuccino- which is not taken for granted
The breakfast paninis are the best, hands down
Just great. High quality ingredients and kind staff
