This is some of the best Korean food I’ve ever had in NYC, hands down. From their hearty stews like 삼계탕 (samgyetang - boiled chicken with porridge), to their incredibly tender & seasoned meat delicacies, like 누룩 삼겹살 (specially aged & fermented pork belly), to their crispy 전 (savory pancakes), they do it all, 10 out of 10.

The service is also fantastic! The husband and wife who run the show are incredibly kind and true expert chefs...
Incredibly great atmosphere. The decor is like cafe meets nostalgic countryside meets quiet library/museum. While eating I could not stop looking around, it is very clear that love was put into this restaurant, small details everywhere. The food was really good too. Feels like eating at mom’s kitchen again, the lady is very nice, I think she had argues with someone from HappyCow before, I try to give her the HappyCow stickers she refused to accept it and said she doesn’t like the people from HappyCow , she explained that this is her culture food and the person try to ask her reject her own culture or something.
