This was the best soup dumpling place in NY, I'm sad to see they have run out of business due to Covid-19

Very neat and welcoming place. They offer big portions and for economical rates. I loved the menu very much and the staff were very friendly and informative. Highly recommended.

The soup dumplings here are absolutely phenomenal! The best soup dumplings I’ve ever had. The other dishes, (lo mein, fried rice, and sesame chicken) that my friends and I got were pretty good but nothing special about it. The service is decent and the price is very fair. The soup dumplings makes it very worth coming back. I would definitely recommend you to come here and get the soup dumplings!!

I've been coming to this restaurant for as long as I can remember. I remember in the early days when this place would always have a huge line; you'd have to wait for a very long time get seated, but it was always worth it because the food was amazing. Not sure what happened in the recent years, but there wasn't much of a line anymore, but my family and I would still agree that THIS is the best Xiao Long Bao restaurant in Flushing. The xiao long bong are always so good and juicy on the inside, and the flavor is outstanding. The other side dishes are also really good. I usually get drunken chicken and Shanghai noodles, and they never disappoint. Seriously, no other xiao long bao restaurant in Flushing is as good as Joe's. Hopefully they open soon!

Definitely your traditional Chinese food. I’ve heard the hype about the soup dumplings and wanted to try it out. Definitely delicious and the price is reasonable for what you get. We also ordered other dishes, all were fantastic and came out fresh. The wait time to get the food was decent as well.

We were craving xialongbao and it turned out that our favorite joint had more than 30 min wait time for a table. So we visited the old Joe's Shanghai , and we are happy to confirm that the food was great. Scallion pancakes, xialongbao, pan fried noodles, everything tasted great!

Amazing pork and crab soup dumplings. You will max eat two sets of 8pcs per person. Good and fast service. 15% gratuity already calculated in the check.

Great original Chinese food, great pork dumplings. Ask to explore this cuisine, the food always has the right seasoning. You can still get American-Chinese dishes.

We went for the soup dumpling, and they were excellent. Other dishes at other tables looked top notch... Seems like it's authentic Chinese mixed in with some American Chinese dishes to please everyone. It's worth a visit

This beautiful establishment has become a tradition for my family and I. We make it a mission to go a few times a year. The services is always top of the line and the food never fails. Man writing this review now is making me hungry might have to take a quick trip out there today. I like this location more then the Chinatown one because there isn't a long wait time and a rushy feeling when your there eating. Plus the staff has more time to interact with you in a more humane manner. Flushing has it all if your in the neighborhood stop in for some of the best soup dumplings in town.
