I've been here a couple of times for different things but today I saw they had coco bread Breakfast and Lunch sandwiches. I got the coco bread bacon egg and cheese and I was not aware that coco bread could get that soft almost like a fresh biscuit. It was good the eggs and cheese melted nicely and the bacon cooked just right. Just due to the fact that the coco bread was so soft and filling I'll definitely be back for either another one or to try their other sandwiches.

The food was decent however they charged me way more than the price on the menu and the quantity of the food is very little for the price you are paying. The service was also not the greatest. I do not recommend this place.

Oxtail was very good. Beef patties too. I wanted jerk salmon, but they didn't have. I was told to call to pre-order it. I'll do that next time. I will be returning

for a few months now I have been getting the medium oxtail from this restaurant for $18 and the price fluctuates between 18 and 21. I went in the store and ordered an me oxtail today, and was told the price is $25 and 5 minutes later I went on DoorDash and ordered the same medium oxtail from the restaurant for $21. the prices here is not consistent they charge you what they feel like at the time of purchase.

TLDR- Reviews seemed good so took a chance. Disappointing first time experience with this restaurant. I cannot speak to the atmosphere as this is based on a delivery order, but I did speak to someone on the phone who was kind and seemingly attentive, but ultimately I don't think was paying attention and was just agreeing to anything to ultimately get me to place the order?
Order arrived incorrectly prepared, missing entree inclusions and wrong beverages. This order was placed at 3PM ish in the afternoon, so I am not sure why items were unavailable.
Felt dishonest and was a poor reflection on the restaurant's integrity.

Called to ask for recommendations and asked for jerk sauce on jerk chicken. Ordered on Aug.5th and spent $65 (before fees and tip) dollars on oxtail, escovitch fish and jerk chicken meals plus 2 mild beef patties, coco bread and 3 beverages. I also ordered mac pie, but was refunded since they didn't have it.

ALLLLL entrees were missing steamed cabbage and only 1 entree had a sole piece of plantain.

Oxtail needed to be cooked a bit longer as pieces were inconsistently tenderized, 'escovitch' fish was just soggy fried fish with no peppers or onions to be found and although decently spiced jerk chicken was dry...like the rice in all the entrees because there was also no gravy present.
The only thing that came correctly were the patties and coco bread
I didn't really sign up to eat pounds of dry rice and peas.
Don't send food out like this.

Glad this opened up on this side of Queens! My husband and I have been ordering from them over five or six times now. We’ve had the jerk chicken, oxtails, stewed chicken and patties. Always hits.

Ordered takeout via seamless 2x. Both times worked out well.
Food delicious and comforting.

First time I had the Jerk Chicken and it was bit dry but it was so well-seasoned. I also got a side of Mac and cheese which was very good too. However, the star of the show was the beef patty in coco bread. So good!

The second time, I got the stew chicken and it did not disappoint either.

Definitely going to order again to try more things (Ox Tails, Salt Fish, etc.)
