Korean street food style counter service restaurant inside the H-Mart. Plenty of seating. The spicy tuna kimbap was good, also had the fish cutlets. Don't expect it to be amazing, it is decent.

I’ve grown up going to the flushing location and was so excited to see one in LIC. I ordered through Grubhub and had the worst experience with Grubhub. They didn’t have enough drivers and delayed my order 2 hours.. I felt so bad that the restaurant probably already made my food and that it was sitting there. I eventually cancelled with Grubhub because their customer service was abysmal and they still didn’t have a sense of when a courier would get there, but felt so bad that the restaurant would ultimately suffer the loss! The restaurant even called me shortly after the order was cancelled to apologize and explain that the food was already made but that the Grubhub courier never arrived. I’ve never had a restaurant go out of their way to do that. I felt so bad that Grubhub screwed them over. Their food is amazing, but their service is even better. Go in person or call in your order and pick it up. Don’t deal with food delivery apps unless you absolutely must, and if you do I hope your experience is better than mine!

When I approached to place an order, I greeted the workers but was met with stony silence. Made me feel awkward and uncomfortable, so I quickly told them which food item I wanted and paid.

It wasn't busy when I ordered so I didn't have to wait long. At least I got a 'thank you' when picking up my order.

Despite the lack of friendliness/warmth, they double-bagged the order with plenty of utensils and napkins. Food was hot when it came out and still warm to eat when I arrived home, which is appreciated. Good portion size relative to the price.

Food was meh, very lackluster in taste compared to the OG location on Flushing. This is like their frozen discount version. Which isn't bad but like if you're expecting the same quality as their OG location? You'll be sorely disappointed.

N2 rice cake ramyun was excellent. Perfect amount of spice (that is, pretty damn spicy) and they give you a lot of rice cakes.

Kimbap is good, freshly made. Order came out pretty fast. Lots of seating in this area as well. Decent deal with the current promo going on!

I didn't realize that I've been to their Flushing location 6 years ago until I searched my photo library for this review. This location is in the food court inside Hmart LIC. It was grand-opened in May. And luckily the 30% grand opening discount continued to get extended for a couple of months, so it was a no brainer for me to visit every time I was in town during this period:

- Curry Pork Cutlet $17. Nice big platter size plate, but the pork was bland and the curry had no heat. It was a disappointment.
- Jolmyun Dukbokki $12. Dukbokki with glass noodle in the mix. It was better than expected and not as spicy as it looked. Good.
- Seafood Udon $14. Clear broth with prawns, fish cakes, and clams. Not bad. But I'd have Seafood Ramyun instead.
- Seafood Ramyun $12. Spicy and additive broth with lots of octopus, some clams and 1 prawn. Definitely recommend this over the Seafood Udon: better texture, more kicks, and $2 cheaper to boot.
- Pork Cutlet Udon $14. This is better than the Curry Pork Cutlet. At least the cutlet was hot and crispy and the udon soup was comforting. Not bad.

Prices are before 30% discount. Service can be slow, particularly for soupy dishes which can take 25 minutes without line. You can return your tray etc in the back of the food court next to the bakery.

I’ve only been here a few times, but this Korean restaurant has quickly become one of my favorites. The food is absolutely delicious, and the staff are friendly and provide excellent service. The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable, making it a perfect spot to visit. Plus, it’s great for takeout if you want to enjoy their amazing food at home. If you’re looking for Korean fusion food in New York, I highly recommend this place☺️
