So This Is One Of My Absolute Favorite Seafood Restaurants In Flushing

If Interested They Have Live Fish And Seafood In Tanks Where You Can Choose What You Want ?

Restaurant: King Crab House

Address: 135-11 40th Rd, Queens, NY 11354

We Had The Lobster In Ginger, Garlic And Scallion Sauce...Served With White Rice And A Soup

So Right Of The Bat This Is NOT Your Typical Seafood In That Sauce....It's A Lighter Version...This Restaurant Wants You To Actually Taste The Seafood

I Did Ask For It To Be A Bit Spicy And With Extra Ginger, Scallions And My Addition Was A Touch More Oyster Sauce...That's How I Order It Here And They Accommodate Without Issue ?

JUST A FYI The Soup Is A Clear Broth That Taste Like Chicken BUT Does Have Pork So If You Don't Consume That Then Make Sure And Let Them Know Your Restrictions

This Dish Is A Solid 8.7-9 Out Of 10

The Place Is Really Beautifully Designed, Clean, Knowledgeable Staff And Delicious Dishes

This Meal Is $20 Plus Tax Which Served Both Of Us And We Were Filled....(About $11 PP)

I Did Notice They Have A Larger Lunch Menu Selection That Is $13.95 I Believe

After The Meal We Walked Around And Grabbed A Bunch Of Fresh Fruit....Mangoes, Tangerines And Lychee

All Good Stuff And Really Reasonable....

Definitely Worth A Visit If In The Neighborhood....Thx Chef ?

Good venue for fresh live fish & seafood. Serving up Cantonese style cuisine.

BYOB is an option. Be sure to tip extra $5-10 on top of normal gratuity. ??

Really enjoyed the steamed giant scallop & steamed fish. The beef steak cubes were also fantastic.

Nice ambiance with an Asian flair. Not noisy and spacious tables with plenty of arm room. Private rooms available for a premium charge, $600 plus…

Been here several times and do recommend ??.

Beware they upcharge items, so make sure to double check your bill. There was no note about price increases on the menu, but expect a 5-10$ price difference on each dish.

Very Honest Reviews

Decent Chinese restaurant in Flushing. We came here on a Saturday for lunch and got an array of lunch specials to share family style. Each dish costs $12.99 and comes with soup and rice. Not a bad deal for the cost and variety if you come with a group.I enjoyed the salt and pepper pork chops, black bean clams and the Szechuan style shrimp. The other dishes were decent but some were lacking in flavor. The service was decent, no complaints. The restaurant was nice and clean.

Disclaimer: we were a large party (3 tables) with advanced reservations and a pre-planned menu, so this is me just enjoying a bounty of dishes prepared for us. As the restaurant name implies, many dishes utilized the king crab and were seafood based. We were able to order vegetarian fried rice and Singapore noodles a la carte for our non-fish eating friends. If you’ve been to these ‘banquet style’ dinners you know the lazy susan fills up fast and you do your best to keep up eating, then fight over who’s taking what leftovers home ?Servers were attentive and did their best to manage the tabletop space and pile of platters.

The facade won’t be too conspicuousAfter entering, I felt a high-end atmosphere and a large number of people. There were about 4 to 5 large tables and there were isolated rooms. The food was served very quickly and tasted good!(My personal taste is a bit lighter)The price is considered medium and acceptable for the general public. If you have elderly or children, I suggest you go here.
