Open air outdoor space and decent latino food with good prices and daily specials. Often has free live music on the weekend in summer. Located in the heart of Rockaway and a good place to regroup or escape the madness.
My Brother-in-law had his second wedding reception here and the food was very good. The style was very much like a lite beach fare served in a very well thought out manner. This place has a feel like you are having a meal on the beach at a vacation location, but the beach is a block away. The food was fresh, flavorful and the service was excellent.
Food was good. Chkn skewer was tender. Scallop shrimp skewer was as well. Both served over rice. $15 ea. Very sunny. Also tried the fry place. If I did the fries again, I'd pay the $1 for the sauce maybe.
