I’ve been to this place many times, probably almost 10 times by now! These days, it’s pretty rare for anyone to visit a Flushing restaurant that often unless it’s really good. Great service and great food every time!
The Fish Head Casserole is a must order! For $25, it comes with so much tofu, glass noodles, and veggies, super hearty. They always give free soup dumplings for orders over $30, and they are really solid. Honestly, I think they are some of the best soup dumplings in Flushing, even better than Nan Xiang.
The Chestnut Chicken Stew is also good, but the portion is much smaller than their other dishes so it is not as worth trying.
The Squirrel Fish is also pretty good, though I forgot to take a picture, and the portions are very big.
Will definitely come back again!

Wasn't that busy. Went as a group of 4. I didn't foot the bill, so I don't know what it cost.
I must have ate 10 soup dumplings or something. It was good. They gave us a third order of it for free. Something to do with not using some parking thing they could do.
Had some wine chicken, it's not my thing. It's a cold dish. The other 2 in the group with experience eating it liked it.
There was this cold appetizer that wasn't that spicy, but as you ate more of it the spiciness starts stacking. Some spicy pork wontons were okay.
The rest of the group had some sort of beef noodle soup. They really liked it, they devoured it. Came in a very big bowl.

I ordered the mushroom noodle soup and the beef fried dumplings. Both were really good, specially the fried dumplings. The portion of the soup was very big for the price. I had to take more than half home. People are nice and the place is very clean and quiet. My daughter ordered the soup dumpling. It was so good she finished the 1st one and she asked for a second order. Very happy we pick this place

The restaurant exceeded my hopes. The menu items taste good, won't empty your wallet and the staff treats you right. Service was lovely. The plate comes filled, the cooking shows expertise, and taste stands out. We'll definitely bring the family back here.

We ordered a lot of dishes and most were awful in comparison to the same dish at other restaurants—the squirrel fish tasted off/moldy beneath the overly corn syrupy sweetness, the jellyfish was too sweet and chewy, the crystal shrimp also tasted old (fishy) not fresh, the salty soybean milk lacked flavor. Some dishes that were passable were the veggie dumplings and fried dough; and the loofa with gluten and snow pea leaves were pretty good (and also harder to mess up). Although the wait staff was friendly, they did NOTHING when we complained about 2 of the dishes being awful so we gave up complaining. Also, they validate the parking only for 1 hour and the parking lot charges extra for “large vehicles,” which include compact SUVs. Save yourself the trip and money.

Delicious authentic Shanghainese style dishes! Friendly staffers and comfortable environment. 😍
Great Shanghainese food, but below average service. Dine in usually not a big issue; tried doing take out once and the lady at counter was extremely rude. She saw customer coming and waiting but decided to keep chitchatting with another woman, completely ignoring us. They probably will not have my business again.

A very nice dinner, indeed! It's Saturday and all places in Flushing seemed to be fully booked with a long waiting list. We got here by chance and what a surprise. Very nice quaint restaurant, a little space but so well organized. Everything is casually elegant and the service is just so fine! The food was excellent. Large portions and very fine cooking. Each dish was delicious and perfectly done. Never too sweet, never too salty, always tender. We tried so many things! You can have a look from the pictures
By the way, my daughter is vegetarian and we had no problem finding lots of options for her that we all enjoyed.
I am sharing. Honestly, we had a great family time with great Shanghainese chinese food in a very nice, quiet restaurant. Hope we'll be back here eventually!

The entire staff is so polite, friendly, and attentive. We really enjoyed our lunch. We felt like the menu items are a little pricier than what you might see at some of the other spots close by, but the quality of the food and the experience is well worth it.
We love the design of the restaurant and on a scorching Summer Saturday it was a welcome relief to unwind and have a great meal with great conversation. The tea was also brewed to a perfect hot temperature and great taste.
We enjoyed our meal so much that we ordered additional entrees to eat at home. And we liked those a lot too

Great place! Has delicious, juicy, tender xiao long baos, along with great scallion pancakes, garlic eggplant, shanghai noodles and more! Only thing was that the place is a bit small so not for big groups. Staff were very friendly and helpful!
