Great unpretentious bagels. Some of the last bagels that don't run over $5 left in NYC

Bacon was only crispy on one side of the bagel. It was the greasest bagel I ate in NYC. Their iced coffee is super basic. The bacon was inconsistent one side had so much fat on it made the whole bagel drenched in its oil. The other side had it done crisp which was better. Ridiculous could have been cooked better. The hash browns was darker tasted semi burnt I wonder when was the last time they changed their oil. I used to come to this place all the time when it opened. The quality went down significantly.

I ordered delivery. The bagel I ordered was just ok, but the coffee was bad. I also ordered something else and it wasn't delivered. Good thing is they refunded the money for it without an issue. Honestly, for what I got, I don't think I would order again.

I have been searching for the perfect bagel spot since I moved to Queens in 2019 after almost 15 years in Brooklyn. I had heard that Liberty Bagels opened a location close by but only recently had a chance to check it out. It's definitely in a very busy area, steps away from the 82nd street stop on the 7. I have no doubt that it gets very busy during the morning rush, but I stopped by around 11:30 on a week day and there was only one person ahead of me. There are a LOT of menu options as well as bagel and cream cheese flavors, and I felt pretty boring for going with an everything bagel with scallion cream cheese, but it's my favorite, so it's hard for me to deviate. It was definitely not boring and very delicious. The bagel was the perfect texture and had a generous amount of everything seasoning on all sides. They were also generous with the scallion cream cheese, which was evenly distributed and very flavorful. The place is well maintained and clean and there are several tables around for dining in. I will definitely be returning soon.

Pretty disappointing experience here. I ordered a wrap with extra eggs, a few meats, lettuce, tomato, MUENSTER cheese and toasted; as well as a cordon bleu everything bagel with grilled chicken, eggs, spinach, and toasted. I received a wrap without any of the eggs, none of the extra meats were included in the wrap (weirdly placed on the side), had American cheese (barf!), a single slice of pastrami (which is a joke...), and the wrap was soggy. As for the bagel, the bagel was even soggier, had no spinach on it, and had a fried chicken cutlet not grilled as I clearly requested (it's an option to choose grilled, it wasn't a special request, so a bit shocked it wasn't honored...). Overall this was a pretty terrible experience as neither sandwich was made properly and the lack of attention to detail is pretty staggering. Likely wouldn't recommend this place at all unless they learn to follow directions better. Update: Revised to 3 stars as the meats were pretty good, just wish they had made the sandwich/wraps correctly...

A red eye flight to NYC means morning NY bagels immediately after landing. Liberty bagels more than answered the call. Great bagels, cream cheese, eggs, great service. Will be back before my flight out!

We ordered through Grubhub. We ordered a SIMPLE sesame bagel with turkey bacon and REGULAR cream cheese. Got the order and it was egg and bacon. Called to see if we could get our order corrected and was told to reorder and cancel.Do they not know that Grubhub only gives back the price of the bagel? Clearly not. Im not going to reorder and have to spend 12 DOLLARS LOL.

Been trying to find a go-to bagel shop in NYC with the best bagels. Liberty Bagels is pretty up there in terms of soft-ness and cream cheese options. We got the lox cream cheese on everything bagel (5/5), bacon egg and cheese on an egg everything bagel (4/5) and the works on an egg everything bagel (5/5) The bagels came out soo fresh and the specialty hot bagel sandwiches were super flavorful. Would definitely recommend to get a quick bite at! I post all my NYC reviews on IG: @jenkneeats !

Honestly so overrated...bagels are decent but take them home and prep them yourself. If you order a bagel w/ cream cheese or a bagel sandwich you'll regret it (see picture of outside of bagel slathered with pesto)

I got the bacon (turkey bacon) egg and cheese on a roll and an everything bagel with jalapeno cream cheese. The bagel was delicious and the cream cheese was good. The BEC was just okay. Overall I would recommend this spot.Parking: This place is located on Roosevelt Ave and on a part of the road currently undergoing construction for the train line above so parking is almost impossible to find.

The bagels and pastries were very fresh. The bagels also did not taste like pure dough, which is always good. The almond croissant was also tasty. The location has a good amount of tables. They have good variety of things, a lot of choices for cream cheese, and a lot of things to choose from in the displays. The only negative I would say is the workers at the register did not seem eager to ask you if they can take your order. One guy seemed disturbed that I asked him to take my order. However, once he did, he was helpful and friendly.

This is first time and might be the last. My husband went to pick up a toasted sesame bagel with lox only for me. He had a conversation with Jenny who was placing the order about NO cream cheese and fresh lox only. Yet came home to find out half the bagel was spread with cream cheese. I don't eat cream cheese at all and half the bagel went to waste. They charged us lox only price but filled it with half cream cheese. I feel that this was not very honest. The mistake occurred with the worker preparing the food, either not paying attention or not reading the order correctly. That can be dangerous if there was any kind of allergies involved. My order was quite simple- just toast my bagel and put some lox in it. What's worse was my husband had a whole conversation about the no cream cheese.

This my #1 top list for the Best bagels! They always come out so soft and crunchy. Perfectly crafted and the jalapeno cream cheese is bomb! Friendly staff and they are all
