Great for celiacs as you can have gluten free bibimbap!

Food is really good and while it's not true traditional bibimbap (no stone bowl which means the rice doesn't get the same crunch) the flavour was bang on and it's a good portion as well. Could use a smidge more protein. Veggies were delicious.

Great service as well.

Nice spot. Got to go while dining at meju. The jajangmyeon and jinmi chae were to die for. Waiting for the sweet ginger tea to come back in stock

I like their kimbap. It's a bit pricey but nice to get fresh, authentic Korean food conveniently

I was eating at Meju when I happened upon this little banchan shop. What a discovery! Eating whatever I purchase from this store makes me feel good. Initially, there are the fish cake, marinated eggs, spicy radish, and bean sprouts. Oh, and I did have the veggie dumplings. Delicious! I'm eager to sample the excellent soy that the chef informed us about. I feel so clean and healthy again after consuming everything I purchased from this store. Highly recommend.

The little BanChan shop is a true gem—I'm actually addicted at this point! The food is always amazing, the service impeccable, and there are so many wonderful and unique treats to discover. It's one of my favorite lunch spots.

We loved little banchan shop! It evoked memories of food in Seoul! Highly recommend the red bean bingsu for a cold treat after a meal.

Was a bit disappointed in the bibimbap, gimbap and 2 of the banchans I bought. Was excited to try from all the reviews but unfortunately the price didn’t match the taste. The ingredients are def nice but all the food was way too sweet and the flavors just didn’t fully quite hit. Like something was just off.

Highly recommend this place as a Korean - everything I tried was delicious, not your typical salty store-bought banchan but healthy and freshest taste that reminds me of my grandma’s food! The pork stir fry and gimbap are my favorite. I love that they not only sell Korean snacks, but also have a fantastically curated selection of jang!

Having grown up in Korea with my grandma, I always appreciated the incredible variety and artistry of freshly made, home-style banchan. Each dish began with the freshest ingredients, bursting with flavor from marinades and jangs crafted without any artificial additives.

The Korean food boom in the States has brought amazing Korean restaurants, but finding truly delicious and healthy pre-made banchan store remains a challenge.

Huge thanks to Little Banchan Shop and Chef Hooni Kim for bringing this level of artistry to New York's banchan scene! Thrilled to have a place I can trust for good, honest ingredients. It's a true taste of home and tradition. I would absolutely recommend everything from this store!

You think inflation is bad? Wait until you walk into this shop! Let me start off by saying that you can get way better banchan and Korean food in either H-mart (northern blvd/LIC) or Flushing for a fraction of the price. As a Korean, I don't recommend this place unless you're willing to pay a hefty premium for mediocre food. Honestly, what you're paying for is accessibility.

yesterday you said tomorrow

I ate at a place inside Pier 57 next to Little Island, and perhaps because I'm Korean, the bibimbap was the best food I ate during my trip today. I think it will be delicious here too.
