Went for a sunday brunch date and the food was delicious. Portion sizes were great and location convenient right off myrtle ave. Interior was well designed too and great for groups too. I had the specialty that was offered that time which was duck benedict and then my girl got the chicken and waffles
If I could give this place 10 stars I would. Totally an unexpected but needed spot in the ridgewood area. First, the woman at the bar who also tripled as a host and served was so amazing. Made us feel so welcomed. I liked the simple but mighty menu. My partner and I ordered the artichoke salad, calamari, and chicken piccata. Everything was lovely expect for the calamari being slightly overcooked and needed salt. Please visit this place if you need a break from the viral line/wait...
Absolutely fantastic (and very surprising) neighborhood restaurant. Our dinner was excellent: wonderful heirloom tomato and watermelon salad, exquisite short ribs, very tasty spare ribs. Friendly, capable service and really nice retro music (including Aretha Franklin singing “I Say a Little Prayer”). The atmosphere is not fancy, but everything else (including the price) is terrific.
