Lucky Dhaba is a cozy and well-maintained Indian restaurant located in Queens. The ambiance is quiet and comfortable, with a warm and inviting Indian decor. The service is praised as friendly and helpful, with the staff treating customers like family and assisting those ordering takeout. The menu offers a variety of vegetarian options, including the popular Samosa Chaat, which features perfectly prepared aloo (potato) samosas served with garbanzo, red onion, yogurt, and a flavorful blend of sauces. Customers highly recommend dishes such as chole pathurey, dry gobi Manchurian, creamy tandoori paneer tikka, shahi paneer, dal Makhni, and the delicious vegetable Pakora. The garlic naan is soft and fresh, adding to the dining experience. Lucky Dhaba is also known for its refreshing drinks, including strawberry and mango bubble teas, as well as mango lassi, both of which are not too sweet. Customers appreciate the affordable prices and the authentic, home-cooked quality of the dishes, particularly the Thali set. The tandoori paneer tikka and mango lassi are delicious, and the food is fresh and quality is on point. The south ozone park location was more of a takeout kind of set up with limited seating, but that doesn’t take away from the food though. Lucky Dhaba in Queens is a true hidden gem for pure veg Indian food lovers. Dishes like pani puri, masala dosa, and chole bhature were bursting with bold, authentic flavors. Gobhi manchurian, malai soya chaap, and cheesy paneer tikka masala were standout favorites, while desserts like falooda rabri and rasmalai ended the meal on a sweet note. With cozy vibes, oriental décor, and a fully vegetarian menu, it’s the perfect spot for family dinners or a flavorful foodie outing. Strictly vegetarian, no meat items period. Small seating space for customers with many takeout orders. Masala dosa and veggies uttapam were good along with Ras malai.
