Overall: This was my #1 favorite boba place UNTIL about a year ago when then started charging 50 cents more just for credit card usage. At around $6 for a medium drink, that's like almost 10%! While they are on the high-end side of boba, I will give them that their tea is high quality and have interesting and delicious seasonal menu. Be aware of added surcharge. Maybe the economy is bad but wish they will post signs, I was taken by this added fee. It’s pretty uncommon practice to add such a charge for a take out item. I got a rice ball at the place, the taste is standard, a little dry but okay for a quick snack. Price listed as 3.99 but with surcharge and tax come up to 4.98. I was surprised but accepted it. The staff are friendly and there are small snack variety at the store.
