The best in Astoria for Mexican food period. From the drinks to the food, amazing. Everyone was friendly, service was fast, food was fresh as can be and tasted great as well. Ivan, who is part owner and manager, was so welcoming and down to earth. Our bartender David was awesome and knew how to make the best margaritas. Come here, you won’t be disappointed!

While visiting New York, I was introduced to MAYAHUEL in Astoria—and let me just say, it’s hands down the best Mexican restaurant I’ve had in a very long time. We sat outside and enjoyed an unforgettable dinner in a cozy, welcoming setting.
The queso fundido with chorizo and the guacamole with chips were beyond amazing—some of the best I’ve ever tasted. Then came the Enchiladas Suizas, and wow… the salsa verde...
