So pleasantly surprised to see other reviews mention this as well! I was ordering mochi donuts and debated picking my last flavor, when the lady behind the counter mentioned the s’mores flavor was really popular and that it didn’t contain gelatin. She saw me in a hijab and abaya and knew to inform me that I could even consider the s’mores flavor as an option. For religious dietary reasons, I usually don’t bother gravitating towards anything with marshmallow, as most places use pork gelatin. I left the shop smiley about customer service and trying a flavor I don’t usually have the luxury of getting. This kind of service where vendors are culturally aware is rare - even in a diverse city like NYC. Definitely was a first time experience at a place that doesn’t explicitly cater towards Muslims or halal eating customers & it meant so much!! Donuts were delicious- everything else looked really cute and yummy too! Much love ????

Awesome selection to choose from. The associate was nice enough to recommend some things and also advised us on which selection has alcohol in it when she saw my niece with a hijab on. That was very thoughtful of her and highly respectful. Thank you!

We came here to treat our daughter to some Sanrio-themed treats. Not only were the selections adorable, but delicious too. I had the best banana pudding I’ve ever tasted. But the best thing about their business is the lady who warned us about the gelatin in their mango dessert. She saw our hijabs and knew about our dietary restrictions. She did tell us that everything else is gelatin-free. I was touched by her actions. Great business and morals. We hope to visit again.

All the way in the back so I almost missed it. Enter the front door and keep walking down the hallway. They have a credit card minimum of at least $10 but they also have Venmo and Zelle. Super helpful staff and I ended up with a cake and macaroon. Very good.

Mochiido is a charming little shop that offers a delightful array of baked goods. Every visit feels like a treat, especially with their constantly rotating selection of new flavors.

One of my personal favorites is the ube tres leches cake—it's absolutely delicious and a must-try for anyone visiting. The shop may be small, but it’s packed with tasty surprises that keep you coming back for more.

I loved the s’mores mochi donut. One time I went and I thought the mochi donuts were a bit oily. The last time I went it was delicious. So it might depend on the day.Update.I went back to get the s’mores mochi donut April 25 2024. The mochi donut was delicious as usual although I don’t think it needs that much marshmellow fluff on top but you can just take some off. I tried the Ube Tres leche. It was amazing!!!!! It rivals the tres leche café in Manhattan which is the best one ever. It’s seriously amazing. Musttttt try!
