I came here after leaving a restaurant/bar with a mediocre menu. I previously had a conversation about this place with a friend and he said it's the best grilled cheese sandwich he's ever had. Well I came to Murray Cheese Bar and I have this to say. I've made better grilled cheese sandwiches, but the tomato soup was amazing. Thank Letty for recommending the amazing tomato soup.

I honestly wanted to like this place, I've been looking at it for months now and I finally tried it, I ordered the melt and tomato soup as well as the Murray Mac as those were popular items. The grilled cheese was so oily it made my stomach hurt immediately, and the Mac and cheese was strangely sweet. The tomato soup was the only redeeming quality about the meal even tho it has some weird block of maybe soggy bread or something in it? Super disappointed considering how much it cost

Prosciutto and iberico chorizo are my favs and recommend. Nice cheese selections as well.

I can't say enough good things about this place! This is our favorite bar to come to in the area. Great food, great ambiance, convenient location. Their cocktails are amazing and they have a great happy hour Oh and I can't forget their incredible staff. Letty and Brendon are the best!

So this would've, could've been a 5 star review but... We were here a couple weeks ago. Ordered Pinot Noir for Happy Hour...happy pours...happy people! Sat outside and people watched...fun afternoon. Came back today. Kevin was our initial waiter...again ordered Pinot Noir ... and a fabulous cheese plate. Cheese was paired appropriately with awesomely perfect bread and a complimentary spread. Fabulous. Fabulous nosh & wine. But then Letty brought the bill. Not billed at happy hour pricing. She said pinot noir was only that price IF they had a bottle open...really? She was miraculously able to adjust the bill but beware. That's all I'm saying.

I'm a local so I've come here a few times, for either food or just drinks. LOVE this place!! Their drinks are VERY good and food is amazing. I mean who doesn't love cheese?!!! We got the mac and cheese and grilled cheese/tomato soup. Both incredible and hit the spot. Highly recommend checking out this place!!

Super cute place with great grilled cheese sandwiches and ok max and cheese. While the sandwich was gooey and delicious, most grilled cheese sandwiches are and it was special. The truffle Mac and cheese was fine, but not amazing. A decent option but there's better food nearby.

I really wanted to love this place and the drinks are great, but we found a hair in my husbands Mac n cheese (in the middle, not on top) and we were informed by the server (who didn't seem surprised) he would it take off the cheque, only for him to come back with our cheque and tell us "it couldn't have been anyone in the kitchen, as they have short hair and it's windy so it might have been a dogs hair in the wind" and proceeded to take 10% off our cheque. My husband and I both work for a living and are not out to get a freebie but having worked for many years in the hospitality industry I was totally taken aback by this approach and really unimpressed. We certainly will not be dining there again. I guess try to avoid windy days if you do also, they obviously don't proof read signs before hanging up and promoting business either.

Great spot with great vibes and kind and attentive staff. Obviously amazing food and wine selection. The Grand charcuterie board is delish as is the truffle max and cheese. But don't sleep on the ceasear salad. That is amazing. Definitely a great spot for friends to catch up or even for a quiet nosh at the bar. Nice addition to LIC!

I used to live in Jackson Park which is right above where Murray's Cheese is located. After two years of waiting for the opening, I finally got to try it recently. Due to covid, I ordered takeout and tried the grilled cheese, Mac and cheese, seasonal salad and burrata. I made sure to eat a lactaid before digging into all the cheesy goodness. This location is also connected to a store so we bought some pimiento cheese and baguette to complement our order. If I'm ever in the mood for cheese this is my go to spot, it was worth the wait!

I was so excited when Murray's announced they'd be opening up a wine and cheese bar in LIC. But then the pandemic happened and opening was delayed and like everyone else I stayed home more.. And then we moved to LA.. On a recent trip back to NY, we were staying at a hotel in LIC so I got to pop in here for a drink. Beautiful space! Excellent wine menu. And of course, the cheese-centric menu. Just wish I got to enjoy it more often before leaving NY.

I have been coming to the Murray's LIC location for the past 3 months. I'm not a New Yorker, but am in LIC every few weeks for work. It's amazing, but the bartender/server Brie ALWAYS remembers me! What great service, and it makes me feel so welcome at a time when I'm away from home. Warning: the cheese and charcuterie boards are too big for one person (at least for me). But great for 2-4 people. If you're dining by yourself, not to worry! Their other menu items are delicious. My favorite is the cauliflower soup with anchovy toasted croutons. It was so delicious, I recreated it at home! For great service and yummy food, I definitely recommend this location.

I had been wanting to try this place for a while now and am so glad that I did! We came here with 7 people and got the Raclette Charcuterie, Fried Brussels Sprouts, Lamb Meatballs, and a large of the Classic Mac and Cheese and Seasonal Mac. This was enough food for all of us because it's pretty heavy stuff. Everything was honestly delicious with the perfect amount of flavor/crisps. The only improvement I would've made was to have the bread for the raclette charcuterie toasted. Other than that, great service and experience here!

Waited too long (45 minutes) for a Raclette that has very little to do with what a raclette is supposed to be. Disappointing.

Pretty solid place. The drinks were great, the goat butter was amazing, the cheese baked great too. My only complaint would be that the pasta was under cooked even for Al dente.
