My husband and I visited Nemo's Beer Shop years ago and we are honestly surprised to see it's still around. Our experience wasn’t great and we never returned since then. The staff were indifferent, and it was clear that certain guests were prioritized while others were overlooked. I wouldn’t leave a one-star review based on an old visit, but our experience was so uncomfortable and unwelcoming that it left a lasting impression.
Additionally, as a longtime beer fan, I found the selection underwhelming and not particularly memorable—it didn’t quite match the level of service or attitude presented.

Friendly owner and staff, friendly crowd, large canned beer selection and a well curated draft selection. Fairly quiet; TV is on, often to a music channel, and not too loud. Some home-made snacks, as well as the usual chips. Great place to hang out. I like that they give tastings, and you can buy a pint, a half-pint or a quarter-pint. So I can order a sampling and still make it home. 😏

This place is a great add to FH. The owner is very friendly, very nice, very knowledgeable about beer, and treats customers extremely well. The draft beer selection is always terrific and the prices are certainly competitive to the area. The canned selection of beers (sold cold, to stay or to take home, mind you) and non-beer alcoholic beverages (seltzers ciders and the like, I think) is certainly the widest selection anywhere in central Queens and probably anywhere between Astoria and the Total Wine & Beer in Westbury out in Nassau County.
I'd rather go here than several other places on Queens Boulevard for beers, and do so.

Stopped in on a walk through the neighborhood. What a fabulous little spot. Staff was full of energy and knowledgeable! Local art! Good tunes. Great selection of beer and options for those who don’t partake . Seating, snacks, and a local vibe. What more do you want.

This was an exceptional and unexpected moment in my journey when I encountered the phone charging station at Nemo’s beer shop. My phone was low, 5%. Kids with babysitters at home. What was a beer drinking mom to do? The seamless and innovative phone charger at Nemo’s was the best charge I’ve ever had. I came in for a phone charge and left with memories of a lifetime, and for that, I am forever grateful to Nemo’s. What an addition to the neighborhood
