I'm on a mission to explore every souvlaki store Astoria provides and I can tell that Nikos souvlaki is the best by far. Dining here is a joy. I always get two or three souvlakia and the pita bread is always fresh and soft , one of my favorite s. The staff is warm and welcoming and the atmosphere vibrant. I recommend this place to anyone craving a taste of authentic Greek cuisine.
Excellent service, delicious food, and generous portions for the price! Definitely will be back.

A traditional Greek souvlaki gem of a restaurant. Niko is the real deal, a gracious host and he knows how to run a grill.
We ordered pork gyros, fries and haloumi. Outstanding. For non-Greeks or folks that don’t know, these are the real gyros - marinated pork or chicken.
Sliced to order with crispy end bits married with juicy cuts of meat. The meat was piled generously, the pita was fresh and delicious; you can cut the tzatziki with a knife (that’s a high compliment); delightfully seasoned thick cut French fries; and the tomatoes + onions were sliced thinly and portioned perfectly. These things matter in a gyro. Amazing.
We came up from Philly and will do so again.

Amazing experience. Great food and super welcoming service. I love the pita bread, which they get directly from Greece. Everything was super yummy. 10/10 will be coming back.

Excellent food reminiscent of Greece. Everything fresh and baked at the same time. Chicken burgers are my favorites and green salad, of course accompanied by a Fix 🍺The scepasti is from another planet 😂 Worth trying!

As a non meat eater I really love Niko’s Haloumi Pita! The Greek fries are also very delicious. Niko’s is the closest that it comes to a pita place in Greece. From the decor, the packaging, and of course the flavors, Nikos’s has it all! (Insert chef’s kiss)
