I’ve had a lot of Greek food in my life and plenty of Gyros’ and this place hit the spot. The meat was perfect and tasted so good. Literally like I was having a Gyros in Athens or the Greek islands. The service was excellent and I highly recommend this place if you are in New York/Astoria or nearby and want Greek food.
My friends and I came to NY from MA for the weekend. Our heritage being Greek, we wanted to come to Astoria to feel a little at home. We stopped at Niko’s Souvlaki after it being recommended the best gyro in the area. The recommendation was not wrong. We ordered several appetizers, souvlakia, gyros, and gyro platters. I had an amazing experience at Nikos Souvlaki. I ordered a gyro and it was absolutely delicious, truly authentic Greek flavor. The service was incredible, especially from Víctor. We arrived super late on a Tuesday and they still welcomed us with so much kindness. Great food, great service. Highly recommended
