I Ordered an oxtail empanada & pomegranate raspberry ice tea . It says fresh ice tea but it taste artificially flavored , I really had high hopes for this iced tea ( I’d rate it on the level of a Dunkin’ Donuts refresher opposed to Starbucks ) it was refreshing though, as far as nice and cold . The oxtail empanada? Was greasy like it was laying it grease right before they sent it out - it consisted of oxtail w/ no flavor , a lot fat, lil meat & oxtail bones . The best part of the empanada was the empanada crust .

this place is NOT for jamaicans , it is for di yankee dem. if yuh come from yard , don’t even bother fi come here. today me & my coworker went for lunch because we wanted some jamaican food & to try something new because we’re both tired of eating the same things. The staff was extremely nice , the restaurant was clean , unfortunately the food was horrendous. & my coworker agrees. we both ordered jerk chicken , white rice , & oxtail gravy. the rice was hard , & the chicken wasn’t seasoned nor cooked well. definitely not authentic , very disappointed. DEF , the place to go if youre american !!! but if you’re truly jamaican , DO NOT waste your time.

This place is getting a 5 star forever unless they run out of food lol. Completely worth the visit however you choose to get there and when you do be sure to check out the signature oxtail empanadas and the new to me curry goat empanadas. I guarantee you freshness and fall off the bone tender goat and oxtail. Also while your there get the jerk chicken smash burger it’s a must have when you do get a side of sauce to go with it and make sure you get it on coco bread once you dunk the already juicy burger in the sauce you’ll want to go back for another sandwich. Check it out and enjoy the low prices and great food. By the way,forget the bev, it’s made fresh ask about it behind the counter!!!!
