Our first time in the area and so happy we chose Paratha Wala! The food was amazing and we had great service with our waitress Hayat. Plan to come back

This is the best Indian Restaurant menu I have come across in NYC. The butter chicken tacos are to die for. The lamb and chicken rolls were simply delicious. All the recipes are original and the food is flavourful. I will definitely be coming back. Special thanks to Naren for the attentive, kind and patient service 🙏🏾

While the food was flavorful and great, the prices are completely outrageous. This is not a michelin star restaurant but you are charged as such. For a party of two our final bill came to ~$150. We were shocked to see this. The servers will sneak in items and upcharge you. For example, water is charged at $12 a bottle (for water). Entrees have "egg" and "avocado" included for a few bucks extra yet this is not disclosed when ordering. The "Lamb Biryani" had in total maybe 6 pieces of lamb (for a price of $21).
I've dined at much finer establishments for less with similar amount of food. I will not be returning.

Nareen is one of the best servers here—attentive, friendly, and truly goes above and beyond to make every visit memorable. The service and food are consistently great, which keeps us coming back. And let’s not forget the drinks—they’re always on point. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for delicious food and top-notch service!”

The food and service were excellent, but I was deeply disappointed by what happened with my bill. The restaurant fraudulently charged my card a tip amount I did not authorize or write down. I selected the highest suggested tip on the receipt, which was $26.20, but they charged me $65.76 instead. This is unethical and unprofessional, and I’ve already reported it to my bank. I have the receipt as proof of what I authorized.
I paid with my company card and brought gift bags for the two guests who dined with me. The server saw my guests going through the gifts, noted that I paid with my company card. I can’t help but feel this may have influenced their decision to overcharge, assuming my company wouldn’t notice or check its transactions.
As a small business owner myself, I find this behavior incredibly disappointing. How would you feel if someone overcharged your card without authorization? My business specializes in auditing, HR, and legal consulting for companies that struggle with proper management. After this experience, I think your restaurant could benefit from such services.
I doubt I’m the first person this has happened to, and while I understand the challenges of running a business, especially in a low-traffic area, resorting to such tactics is unacceptable. It’s a shame that an otherwise great dining experience ended on such a sour note.

Amazing food and service! We’ve been here multiple times and it’s always been a great experience but today the staff went above and beyond. We were a party of 12 with 6 kids and our server, Hayat, was so patient and helpful. Took the time to explain all the options and gave amazing recommendations. Highly recommend! Can’t wait to go back!
One of my favorite places to eat in the area. Food is always amazing, so fresh and flavorful. The service is amazing, I've been waited on a few times by Vani and she is lovely! Love the coziness of the restaurant. I can't wait to eat here again!!!
