This is a no frills, serious, pho lover's spot! It's more of a cafeteria/eatery than a restaurant so don't expect a vibey atmosphere or 5 star service. The servers expect your order pronto. The pho comes out within minutes. You eat, you pay, you go! Cash only. You get served free hot tea before your meal which is nice. Affordable, fresh, and delicious every time.
How have I never reviewed Pho Bang? I Come here easily once a week. 25 large w/ iced coffee.
In ‘05 When I first moved from DC I was looking for a ‘pho 75’ equivalent and it took About 3 months till I found my way out to elmhurst. A blind pick from Google maps, finding this place kicked off my interest in eating my way thru elmhurst & queens in general. The neighborhood is a gem and filled with friendly people

Listen, this is my go to pho place ever since I moved here. Have I experienced sass from the waitstaff and/or the cashier? Yes. Am I willing to over look all of it for a huge bowl of warm delicious pho and cha goi? Of course.
