This is one of those mom-and-pop Chinese bakeries in Elmhurst. This one happens to have seating but it is smaller than the Rainbow Bakery one block away. Most of the customers inside are elders.Even though most of the items were sold out, I chose a fish sandwich. The fish fillet was garnished with lettuce and tomato. Will come again.
Small decent bakery! However the breads Only have Asian Chinese writing to indicate what they are so....unless you understand their language you don't know what you're buying.

One family member likes to visit 88 Bakery & Cafe practically everyday or every other day. After day of shopping or walking around the neighborhood, we make a pit stop here to cool our jets and refuel. What is good about 88 Bakery & Cafe is that there is an area where you can sit and enjoy a cup of coffee (I like their coffee) and I get the bun with corn with bits of ham swimming in mayo (white cream).
