I love this place! I’ve told all my friends about it. The music is 10/10. Drinks are 10/10. Service 10/10. I had such a GREAT time. My man and I literally danced all night. The manager gave us shots because it was our birthday. So sweet!
Food is 4/10. They don’t have much on the food menu so I recommend eating beforehand and enjoying their cocktails cause they’re bomb!
The vibe is so open & free people just want to have a good time! And the aesthetic is so cute. Can’t wait to visit again!

Dope trendy bar in Long Island City with great people and atmosphere all around. Definitely recommend setting a reservation as it’s hard to get in otherwise. The drinks were well crafted and tasty although a bit pricey. The food was okay, just bar food. The music was vibey, playing some of the best records, new and old. Definitely a good place for good vibes.

This Sunday, four of us (two couples) went to Record Room, and we all left feeling completely offended. The security guard singled out me and my friend, constantly complaining about us going outside to smoke, even though we only went out twice. What made it worse was that plenty of other people were going out to smoke without any issue. Despite the fact we weren’t drunk or making noise, he made inappropriate comments implying certain groups of people aren’t welcome. This was completely unprovoked, and all of us felt uncomfortable. I used to come here often and recommended it to all my friends, but after this experience, I will never go back, and I’ll be telling my friends to avoid this place too

Pretty cool place hidden behind the cafe front. I don’t know if they run the business as cafe during the day. I’m not gonna lie I should have done more research before I hit the place. I thought it was just a bar and we can take a seat and talk. Turns out you always need reservations to get seat. And it is more of club than a bar. Don’t get me wrong I did ended up enjoyed the music and the drink and I’m not even a clubbing type of person lol it was not what I was looking for that night so I left after one drink but I highly recommend this hidden gem.

Security at the front was quite obnoxious. I came in for a birthday party and was told that the birthday party had expired and therefore I could not enter. Now, I'm going in for exclusivity, but you must allow room for guests to attend an event.

Bouncer is very rude. I upstairs went to charge my phone and came back he wouldn’t let me in while my friends were there and I paid a bill over few hundred dollars. Unacceptable. I don’t even want a drink I want to court my friends home. I will never come here again and before I left the bouncer tried to swing at me. Here is the picture. Guess we all know what his profession will be for days to come.

Sept 6th, 2024 was my first time visiting Record Room, and I have to say, the atmosphere was on point! The music was a vibe, making the place feel like an elevated house party. However, the experience wasn't without its hiccups. The location is unfortunately a dead zone for both AT&T and T-Mobile, so don't expect any cellular service. Also the drinks are a bit overpriced.
Our servers were a bit short-tempered and rude, which did put a damper on things. However, Raquel, who I believe was the manager, really stood out. She was extremely pleasant and customer service-oriented, which helped balance out the less-than-stellar service from our server. Overall, it was a mixed experience, but I'd consider giving it another shot.
