After eating here, you definitely do not need to fly all the way to Korea to be able to eat good raw marinated crabs and shrimp! Everything was super fresh and well seasoned. We got the soy platter to share and it was filling for 2 people! I also recommend sikhye! Service was good, but you should definitely try to get a reservation to avoid waiting. The ambience was modern and well kept.

Oh man, I've been looking for a raw marinated crab spot to visit here and this place did NOT disappoint! I enjoyed the soy marinated crab a little more than the spicy one. I also enjoyed the Argentinian shrimp. I would recommend if you like ebi. Not as sweet, but still has that ebi feel to it, in larger form of course. Will go back to try more !

The restaurant was clean, bright, and a server was friendly enough, but the tables were way too small and I felt so crowded while eating. I understand the small space, but maybe this is something to be thought about if you’re serving platters of crab that barely fit the table. With that said, everything was delicious and fresh. Although the blue crab was really tasty, it was a lot of work, with very little meat. While the Gunsan crab was large, meaty, and juicy, the price difference was pretty significant. I really enjoyed the red Argentine shrimp and abalone which were so sweet and delicate.
We also ordered the spicy pork belly which we didn’t need and wasn’t anything special. We took two bites and took the rest to go. The platter was more than enough food but we thought that we needed something warm.
I will definitely be back for more shrimp and crab!

The food is good, the service keeps driving people away, especially the girls at the front desk, who waste such good food.

So good? not fishy at all, not too salty !! highly recommend the shrimp? also the bathroom and the inside was clean and the servers were all very nice? will come again
Food was good but both my sister and I got food poisoning.
The food is good, but it’s overpriced. They barely pay anything for rent and charge an arm and a leg for crab
I tried rice thief when they first opened, it was amazing! very good! The crab is fresh and tasty. So i decided to went back in person last week.
The crab was not as good and fresh as i remember, i even ordered the more expensive one. It was sad to see that their quality is not consistent.
Also the music was way too loud to enjoy the food, I really hope that the owner can be bit more mindful for the overall experience.
Again it’s sad see a restaurant used to love went downhill.

unique Korean food. Must try!
The raw crab is super delicious and highly recommend the soy salmon too! So happy that they have a restaurant now. For those who didn’t know, they used to do online sales and deliver to your house. The exterior of the restaurant makes you feel like you’re in Korea!

Celebrated an early birthday gathering here with my friend. I would recommend making reservations as they are pretty booked out on weekends. We got the spicy platter, albalone congee, and makgeolli. The banchan (side dishes) were very simple: kimchee and mushrooms. They were very good surprisingly. We thought the spicy platter wouldn’t be enough for two people but it was actually more than enough. Not to mention it came with two rice bowls and seaweed. We were able or mostly me was able to finish the albalone congee. It was so good, very cozy and hugs you kinda meal. Super comforting for winter time. I do agree with a lot of the other reviews that there is a strong fish smell as soon as you open the door but once you’re eating you don’t rlly smell it in the restaurant, if that makes sense. I highly recommend this place to people who are craving raw marinated crabs and seafood. Thanks to the lady for being attentive and giving me gloves refill since I kept breaking mines.

While the crab is really good and I was looking forward very much since it is my first time, it is so DISAPPOINTING and SHOCKING to know I found hair strands in the other dish, abalone congee. But once I told the server, she was quick to respond to replace a new one which took quite long another 20mins. Could sense she was apologetic so I still tipped. Wished they could do more/refund etc, but I didn't want to make a big fuss and just wanted to leave/ left immediately after paying.
