Special thanks to my daughter and her BF treating me to sweets on Mother’s Day! The Salty Lunch Lady’s Little Luncheonette is well-known for their cakes and baked goods in Queens, NY! Stood in line to try some sweet goodies. Their coconut, macadamia nut, white chocolate cookie and their pistachio layered cake was scrumptious! This little luncheonette was filled with sweet vibes and very happy customers.

@saltylunchlady.My most feared sandwich was the bologna sandwich growing up. But hear me out though. I don’t have any good memories of bologna sandwiches growing. It was like the go-to brown bag lunch they had for us during school trips. They were not good, in fact they were gross. It was either bologna or salami sandwiches and both were equally bad. Was ham much more expensive? My parents never bought bologna cold cuts either, it was always ham….Anyways, I’ve grown to put that fear of bologna sandwiches/cold cuts pass me and let’s just say the fancy the bologna from @saltylunchlady is not only the best bologna sandwich but probably one of the best sandwiches I ever had….But this isn’t your plain/standard bologna but rather mortadella, which is Italian sausage. We (well, I) grew up with the American sausage. You can google it for a better explanation..Anyways, the sandwich looks nice a simple but it’s far from that. It’s so elevated. I can’t explain it but you have to try this… everything is made fresh so you won’t be disappointed..We arrived an hour after it opened and got was already a full house with orders about 20-30 mins wait. Worth the wait….They menu isn’t big, my next visit, I will be getting the tuna or should in try the turkey??.We also tried their a slice of their s’mores cake, very airy and delicious.

Amazing. I can't stress enough how good and fresh the Chicky Sandwich is. The atmosphere is cool, if you're into the hippie vibe. It's a cute little spot. A little upset there were no desserts when I went but it just goes to show how good they must be.

The sandwiches were really good but the price was a bit steep with $15 without any sides. Had the green eggs and the chicky sandwich which oh boy be ready for a messy eat coz everything in the chicky just slides out when you take a bite.Their pie was the winner for me, fluffy and the crust just crumbles away.

Bit overhyped. Cool spot but my sandwich wasn’t /that/ delicious for its promised 30-minute delivery time, and the slices of cake and pie are like $10

Everything is unusually aesthetically pleasing. Super sweet staff. Only one vegan option but it’s sooo good and hopefully they can add more in the future ? ?

Loved. It’s packed at lunchtime so expect to wait a bit. Had the dill party, vanilla tapioca + citrus, and salted brown butter milk + dark chocolate chip cookie. They change desserts everyday!
