No part of Thailand is this dark. Thailand at night isn't this dark. Come here to have a viewing distance of 10 feet. Stay because you overpaid for your food, which is just as bad as it is dark.
Basement restaurant is just that, dreadfully dark. Maybe a prison in Siam.

Siam Thai is a gem of a restaurant! From the moment you step inside you're greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The decor is traditional yet elegant, with beautiful Thai artwork and soft lighting that sets the perfect mood for a relaxing meal.
The menu is extensive, offering a wide variety of classic Thai dishes. My friend & I started with the crispy crab rolls and Manila clams. Both were bursting with flavours, esp. the Manila clams - leaving us pleasantly surprised. For our main courses, we ordered pineapple fried rice and pad kee mao, both with shrimp. The latter had just the right amount of heat and the vegetables and noodles were cooked to perfection. The sauce was a delightful mix of sweet, savoury, and tangy flavours. I thought the pineapple fried rice was a bit too moist and bland.... but I'm Jamaican, and love me some spiciness!
We drank Midnight Blue and Lychee Thai iced tea too wash our meals down. While bringing each other up-to-date with what was happening in our respective lives, we ordered some more drinks: Tropical Soul and Panoma - nothing special, but enjoyable!
The service was also excellent; our server was attentive, friendly and courteous.
10/10 would definitely recommend to a friend. If you haven't visited, what are you waiting on?

Appetizer sampler was solid. Recommend the Rib eye steak for two perfectly seasoned and was accompanied by a mildly spicy salad and sticky rice.
Desserts were awesome too. Mango sticky rice and a ice cream over this dough.
No wait even with a reservation. Service was quick and friendly.

I always come back here- I wish I had food pictures but we devoured it the moment it hit the table. Interior is so nice and comfortable. Beef boat noodle soup has always been such a hit and we love the morning glory. 100% recommend this spot

The atmosphere is so beautiful and welcoming. Service is great and food is delicious. Even the water tastes clean and fresh.
Love the food, in a hidden oasis. Generous portion and quality food. Very authentic Thai style food. Love its unique blend of Thai jasmine rice beer, excellent complement to the seafood dishes. Be warned, there are about 10-20 staircases you need to climb back after eating, not thrilled about that.

Absolutely delicious Thai food in Flushing! The Pad Thai with shrimp was flavorful and perfectly cooked, and the Thai tea was rich and refreshing. Marioh took great care of us , super friendly and attentive. Highly recommend this place for authentic Thai cuisine!
