Every once in a while you find a place that makes you feel like a kid again in the most beautiful way. This place is one of those places. Everything is perfect. The food, the vibes, the people. My only complaint is that I had to leave and go home afterwards. The most wonderful little cafe you will come across.
Amazing food, the freshest ingredients and the owner cares deeply about the food and her customers. Ask her what she recommends and you won't leave disappointed. Ill gladly walk out of my way to support a place like this.
Chicken and rice plate. Mediterranean tuna sandwich, Moroccan style. Spinach pie and lentil soup. We stumbled upon Sunshine by accident while exploring this corner of Astoria. The owner, Maria, is lovely, friendly and genuinely warm. Everything down to the bread and sauces is prepared on the premises. We loved it here and plan to return. Make it a destination when you’re visiting Astoria Park or Pool. We’re glad we did!
