I have been coming to sweet yummy house for over 12 years now and it remains one of my favorite places, hands down. I’m a chef and Chinese, and have been eating around NYC for over 24 years. The dishes to get are: twice cooked pork, whole tilapia with bean paste (it’s a famous dish), pork with garlic sauce, three cup chicken, just to name a few! You won’t be disappointed!

Excellent choice for Sichuan classics and good value for money.I like to joke that Hutong, the Michelin 1-star restaurant on the Upper East Side, just sends a van out to Sweet Yummy House to pick up a tray of làzǐjī to sell for 10x the price.The spicy beef stew noodle soup, in the menu under the noodle section, has handmade noodles and packs a spicy, satisfying punch for an excellent price, less than $10. I look forward to trying more here!
