On a cold day, all I wanted was a comforting bowl of hot soup — and Tamashii Ramen delivered far beyond my expectations.
The appetizers were so outstanding that I honestly thought I wouldn’t even have room for ramen… but one spoonful of the broth changed everything. Deep, rich, and incredibly flavorful without being salty, paired with perfectly cooked noodles that had just the right bite — it completely won me over. The balance was flawless.
What truly elevated the experience, though, was the service. The servers were exceptionally kind, warm, and genuinely welcoming. Not overly formal, not rushed — just the kind of friendliness that makes you feel comfortable and cared for from the moment you walk in.
From the food to the atmosphere to the people, everything came together beautifully. This is the kind of place that turns a simple meal into a memorable experience. I’ll absolutely be coming back — again and again.

They have the best ramen in the area. It’s really good, 100% recommended.

A vegan friend recommended this spot to me, but the restaurant recently changed their menu and no longer has veggie broth... only fish and bone broth. So sadly, I didn't try their ramen. Vegans beware that your options will be limited to the hot/cold tofu starter dishes, and appetizers like the sweet potato fries (which were quite good) and white rice. Service was excellent, on the upside!

DO NOT GET THE CURRY RAMEN. I really wanted to like it but it was so gross: the broth was way too salty, the fried chicken got soggy the second i added the broth, and the flavor of the curry is just not good (and i normally love curry).
Tamashii Ramen broths at the LIC location and this location used to be delicious, the best, but in the last few years the umami flavors and depth of broth flavors have really become watered down. I used to assume the kitchen might have had a change over, and maybe needed time to adjust, so I’ve tried a few more times since I noticed the ramen losing flavor and the quality still hasn’t returned. The broth and pork seasonings really lack salt or any flavor and the aged flavors for the miso broth they claim are lacking. It’s too bad.
You can add a little Nanami Togarashi to help add some seasoning, but it’s still not the same as before covid.
Good food and service, nice atmosphere and excellent price!

Randomly searching for a place to eat ramen and I found this gem. The food was absolutely delicious, the vibe was lovely, and the prices were super reasonable.

Got the veggie Raman and it was good but kinda lacked in flavor so asked for spicy sauce on the side and it made it a little better. Food came fresh and quick. Nice chill vibe spot for some ramen. Glad they open late compared to other ramen places. It’s weird how they couldn’t change the pork broth to veggie broth. That’s something I got bothered on.

Honestly the best Ramen I’ve had so far. I’m always ordering here, never dined in but super easy to order over the phone for lunch. They are very quick and the staff is always nice. I’ve also asked for certain substitutions in my meal and they always get it perfect.

Met a vegetarian friend for lunch and was pleasantly surprised to find 3 options for us. Ordered the vegetable ramen with shoyu broth, but as a vegan diner, I declined the egg. I asked for extra veggies to replace the egg and they completely refused. No substitutions no exceptions and spoken in a very irritated tone. I don’t find 2 extra pieces of broccoli an unreasonable request. The ramen was ok…. I will not return.

We were there today for the first time. The staff was smiling and made us feel welcomed. I left my wallet behind and they went out of their way to find me and got my wallet back. Thank you. We will see you soon. 😁❤️❤️

Me and my partner where simply ashamed of the lack of care provided by this restaurant. After a long day me and my partner came in for a nice hot meal. We had found a hair in our food which wasn’t too big of an issue to us but after alerting our server and asking for some sodas she came back after ten minutes asking if we wanted our food remade to which we said it was find and we’re okay with the food now (we got over it by the time she came back) she then takes the wrong dish back to the kitchen and then returns within a minute with the bill minus that dish and without our drinks.
As a former F&B manager I was simply apauled by the lack of care from the staff and personally disgruntled after a long day.
Food was nice but not the hottest for soup
The ambiance of the venue was quite enjoyable
3/10 not recommended with expectations.

I enjoyed the vibe and atmosphere of the place. Very cozy and feels like you’re transported out of nyc. However the food was average. It was okay but I don’t think I’ll be back. Just a bit bland and lacking of the umami I expect from a ramen place. However, the staff was kind and attentive. We were served quickly and enjoyed our time.
If you prefer milder tastes then this would be a good option.
