I enjoyed the vibe and atmosphere of the place. Very cozy and feels like you’re transported out of nyc. However the food was average. It was okay but I don’t think I’ll be back. Just a bit bland and lacking of the umami I expect from a ramen place. However, the staff was kind and attentive. We were served quickly and enjoyed our time.
If you prefer milder tastes then this would be a good option.

This place’s food is so bad… it looks like they literally assembled everything from the fridge in 5 minutes. The taste is so bland.

Been to this place more times than I can count and it never disappoints. One of my favorite ramen places and must get the fried squid! Definitely a no frills place with limited seating

I think this place might have the best ramen in all of Queens. We got there just when they opened and were seated by the bench tables. They also have stool style seating and asked customers which they preferred.
We ordered the ika karaage (squid), champon ramen (non spicy) and miso ramen.
The ika karaage was freshly fried and came on a bed of salad (lettuce, red onions) which was a first but it was a good palette cleanser before we moved onto the ramen. It also came with two dipping sauces: honey mustard (maybe?) and caesar salad sauce.
I had my eye on the champon ramen but wasn't sure if I could handle the spice level. Luckily the staff were able to make a non spicy version. The soup flavor of my ramen was so light (reminiscent of tonkotsu) that I could've drank it all (though I probably shouldn't). There were 2 mussels, regular sized shrimp, mini shrimp and a few pieces of octopus. Plentiful of ramen noodles at the bottom. It was definitely a very filling meal. I also tried some soup from the miso ramen and it was quite saltier in taste compared to the light flavor of the champon soup.
Service was great as the staff were always refilling our water cups (with the prettiest rainbow glass pitcher) and clearing empty dishes from the table.
Their bathroom was impeccably clean and I think it's the first time I've seen an air conditioner inside of one!
All in all, this is a really great spot to get ramen in Queens/Forest Hills area.

I ordered the ramen and unfortunately it didn’t taste like Japanese ramen at all. Sorry, but I can only give 1 star.

Cozy spot with ramen that really hits the spot. 🍜 The broth is rich and flavorful without being too heavy, and the noodles have that perfect chewy bite. Portions are generous, and everything feels freshly made. The staff is friendly and the service is quick, even when it’s busy. After my trip from Japan, I had to come here again—and it still delivers that comfort ramen fix. It’s the kind of place you leave already planning what you’ll order next time. Definitely a solid go-to when the cravings hit!

Went to Tamashii Ramen in Forest Hills after our concert at Forest Hill Stadium and had a great time! The food was high quality, came out on time, the service was excellent, and prices were very affordable. I’ve also been to their Astoria location and it’s just as impressive.

I go to the location in Astoria all the time and love it. Came in at 9:30, and server said they were closed. Restaurant closes at 10:00 and guests were still waiting for their food. Rude.
