Tacombi in Forest Hills is a favorite place and a go-to restaurant any time of the week. The food is always delicious, with excellent quality and fresh ingredients. The service is amazing, and the staff are all super nice and run a very tight ship. The drinks are perfect, and the entire staff truly cares about the experience. The restaurant has a large, airy space with an open kitchen. For brunch, the watermelon juice is fresh and hydrating, and the guacamole and chips and the corn esquites are bright and full of flavor. A chicken tortilla soup being rolled out is fantastic and deeply flavorful. The beef birria taco stands out as rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The beef birria is an all time favorite. Tuesday is 2 for 1 and there is a lunch special all week. Food comes quickly, and there is usually no wait.
