“Not gonna lie the food was pretty good, there’s a nice ambiance in the spot, over looking the view of the city from queens but the thing that really did it was the waiter, Gary. Not gonna lie top 5 waiter I’ve ever had an encounter with and I’m a chef in the food industry. If you ever come here make sure Gary is your waiter, I promise he will not disappoint !!!!!“
“Excellent service. Very good selection of food and drinks. I ordered the “Patrona” drink and the nachos appetizer and enjoyed it very much. Many thanks to the bartender Angélica who served me.Excellent service. There was a great and varied selection of drinks and food. I ordered the “Patrona” drink and an order of nachos as an appetizer. I enjoyed these a lot. Thank you for the bartender Angelica for their service.“
“I've been meaning to leave a review for this restaurant for some time. From the moment I first came here, I knew I'd become a regular, and I definitely have. BEST Mexican restaurant in NYC. Food is always consistently amazing. I always order the chicken & shrimp tacos. Flavor is amazing. The margarita's are strong. The service is always spectacular. Every worker here is so so kind and attentive. One of my overall fav restaurants. I love it here“
“Can you say “las Catrinas” after a few of these delicious must cocktails , in a gringo acento ?This is and will be an Astoria icon. When the aliens arrive , this will be their first stop , bc the food and drinks its out of this world.GPAR our sever (hard to rsvp as well ) just an amazing person, always smiling always there when you need him , just like Superman!Cheers and thank you guys !“
“Great guys on the truck and seriously solid reasonably priced food...been going to them for a year ordering 2 or 3 go tos...BUT tonight switched it up a bit and had their Birria "sandwich" basically a Mexican Torta...my oh my that torta was UNREAL good and for $10 a bargain...can't recommend it enoughParking: solid“
“The best birria tacos! Super juicy and loaded and they come with pickled onions on the side. Convenient location right next to parking lot. I usually get the meal (3 tacos and consome) and one or two extra tacos. Very filling. Staff are fast and friendly. Bring cash and don’t forget to tip.“
“Daniel was great with the hookah! On point . Flavors came nice and smooth , lasted a good amount of time . Reasonable prices. Taco Tuesdays are a great deal here. Servers can get busy but they do their best to take care of you. Great drinks, Dj was great. Good “
“It so happened that I've just gotten back from Mexico the week before so I had a fresh palate to compare Tacombi's tacos to. Well, they taste just like they do in Mejico! No water-down "Americanized" or Tex-mex here. Every ingredient adds flavor. Their tortillas are made of flavorful corn (not flavorless flour that just holds things together), their meats are deliciously seasoned and juicy (they don't rely on cheeses and salty greasy rice to get flavor), and their home-made salsas for the tacos go so well with the specific meat.My favorites? Baja Fish. The batter is light and crispy, and the cabbage and sauce make it a party flavor. A close second are the Sinaloa Shrimp and the Beef Birria (the consome is delicious).Since I don't live far, I've started to be a regular with my budsfor 2 for 1 Taco Tuesdays. We love that we don't have to wait to get seated, that the atmosphere is simple and casual, but more importantly, the service is friendly (thank you Deandra!) and quick! My wife also likes this place but, because she's vegetarian, there's only one type of taco (Black Bean & Sweet Potato) and one tostada (Avocado Tostada) that she can pick from. She loves those though! My only recommendation to Tacombi is to switch to corn on the cob for the street corn and to pleeez add Carnitas, another vegetarian choice (maybe re-fried beans and Nopal, or with Jackfruit [Yaka]) and, since it's roots are from Yucatan, why not Cochinita Pibil?All-in-all, not just one of my favorite spots in Forest Hills but actually in Queens!“
“Yo…Carl just whipped together some of the best tacos in the city right here in Ridgewood. These tacos are no ordinary tacos, they are with smoked brisket meats. A whole other flavor experience. Taco Tuesday’s as well. This place is a diamond in the rough. I think my only problem is that they don’t offer burritos. Would be INSANE.“
“(Translated by Google) Excellent and cozy I loved the homemade flavor that I found in this place, everything was very fresh and I felt very well attended (Original)Excelente y acogedor me encanto el sabor casero que encontré en este lugar todo muy fresco y muy bien atendida me sentí“
“Some of the best Al pastor tacos I’ve had in nyc, with a good price. The serving of meat is overly generous, pipping hot & delicious. Sweet pineapple and fresh cilantro balance it out perfectly. Tacos are grilled in oil and super piping hot - almost impossible to pick up right away. Use a fork!“
“An actual hidden gem in queens! I go out of my way to stop here every chance I get! Everything I’ve had was phenomenal.. you can’t go wrong with any meat choice. Even if you’re not into meat, they know what they’re doing with the guacamole, the rice has veggies in it so soft.. all cooked and marinated perfectly and all pairs well with their sauces. The sauces are so good the meal & sauce compliment eachother. (Huge fan of their green sauce, I put it on the side and dip how I please) always welcoming & kind, clearly a family owned business. All reasonable regular pricing like any other taqueria spot in queens honestly. I’ll be back soon! :)“
“Had ordered on GrubHub a quesabirria , carne asada with rice & beans, and jamaica juice . Hands down , amazing food! Homestyle flavor but with a restaurant presentation. The packing was great and not messy! Thank you so much for the delicious food will be ordering again!“
“I called Garage Door Market because my garage door spring broken \u0026 the garage out of track and they sent someone out within an hour. Professional, courteous, knowledgeable and a reasonable price. I highly recommend this company, and will be using them for all my future garage door needs!“
“The owner created a really welcoming and warm environment. The pizza was absolutely amazing ! I would recommend this pizza place to all my friends. Will be using this for classroom pizza parties moving forward.Kid-friendliness: Was kind and welcoming to students and children.“
“The outside of this restaurant looks like a run down deli, but I can assure you, just enter and you will find a small restaurant that serves up amazing and cheap Mexican food. The staff didn’t speak the best English, but we managed to order easily and got our food pretty quickly. The food is great and checked off all the boxes for me. The portion felt just right for me as well. Great neighborhood spot to get Mexican food!Parking: Street parking only, but extremely limitedWheelchair accessibility: No stairs. Entranceway is a bit tight“
“Tried their birria tacos and they're lovely! Packed with beef, cheese, and savory, tangy birria on the side. Burrito bowls were also good, but the birria tacos are the star of the show here! Friendly and attentive staff, especially drew! We hope to see you again soon!“
“first time coming here ever on a less busy day and had the pleasure of chatting with the owner lori! she is clearly very passionate and her menu is well thought out and researched, i even got a taste of her chipotle coleslaw which was delish. the carnitas really are bomb like the sign outside says. also both the red sauce and green sauce were divine! i will be coming back soon!“
“First off, this might be the cleanest restaurant I've ever been to. Normally I wouldn't even notice that but it's in a car wash so that feels like part of the charmThere is a sign on the car wash indicatign that the taqueria is in there but when you walk in you wouldn't know it. You need to walk through the car wash lobby to the back of the restaurant. This is probably my favorite taqueria. The food is generously seasoned and generously portioned, and the Cubana torta is one of my favorites in the city. All at a reasonable price for the city too. The chorizo nachos are also a favorite. Extremely generous topping to chip ratio nad the chips are fresh. Also love the al pastor taco. It's off the GCP and near the airport so I stop by on the way out to Long Island from Queens if traffic isn't too bad.“
“This place is amazing! Super friendly service, delicious smoothies and some of the best prices for fresh smoothies and juices in the area. Very generous sizes too!Dietary restrictions: They have almond milk, coconut milk and coconut water for smoothies. Vegan friendly!“
“Excellent is in summary the rating for the service and the food served in this place, I have had the opportunity to go to eat there twice, we were recommended and since we are not Mexican we sought advice on the dishes to better understand and order, really the The first time a gentleman did not serve us very well and we ordered a delicious meal, but the second time was even more surprising since we were served by a young lady who not only took us to know what each dish was about, but also took us on a journey through the history and origin of said dish and the service was really excellent and the dish that he recommended to us was very delicious, this place has become our favorite, for its rustic atmosphere, the unbeatable service and the quality of the food, highly recommended“
“Fantastic tacos and sopes in Flushing. I love the chicken sopes and the carnitas tacos. On weekends they have birria plan to try that next also very affordable and if you are local no need to goto Roosevelt.Update: tried the birria and it’s legit. I find myself getting dinner once a week from them. ?“
“I never write reviews… but I was so blown away by the quality of the meats/ingredients & quantity… not forget the taste. Amazing! Will it be a bit more expensive than a deli yes by a couple of bucks… however you will get you moneys worth! There are restaurants that will try cut corners to save money at your expense and still have high prices. Not this place! This Restaurant shows integrity.. & quality!Even the packaging was on point. If you live in Astoria, or plan to eat Mexican food this is The Spot. This place should be packed, & having 50 delivery guys at a time.Love the food.“
“The food was tasty, beef in beef quesadilla was a bit tough but other than that the food was overall good. Quantity was larger than I thought. The restaurant is casual and nothing fancy but the server was really sweet and I enjoyed the experience.“
“Finally have found my go to mexican takeout spot. Everything is so flavorful, fresh, and thoughtfully packed. Elote is so simple, yet somehow so easy to mess up, and theirs is freshly shucked & grilled. Fish tacos andsteak are my go to! Wish I could do half stars. More of a 4.5“
“(4.3/5 rating) so I tried their cheese only quesadilla, Al pastor taco & carnitas tostada. Their cheese quesadilla was my fav. Super cheesy with the green picante (spicy sauce) on point. The Al pastor taco was was on point - I could’ve ate like 3 more of them! The carnitas tostada was okay. Wouldn’t really get carnitas again. I think the al pastor meat was way better! They also have the option to order directly from their website for pick up which I love ! No fees and it was ready on time. Prices are affordable! Worth a try !“
“We went here late night and it was the perfect meal after late night drinkingWe had the al pastor, tinga and shrimp.Went here a week later sober and it was still good ;). We fplks in NY debate over best tacos like we debate over best pizza. This one is among my top 5.The al pastor was really good. I preferred that over the tinga. My friend doesn't eat meat so.she had the shrimp and enjoyed it.The tortilla didn't taste bland which is important to me as many spots have bland tortillas. The guys in the truck were very friendly and served us fast. The lines can vary depending on time of day. These guys are here daily. The lines move pretty fast.If you go the truck is right under the N train 36th ave stop.“
“once i walked in it was just good vibes & energy! so many different selections i was overwhelmed with choices. but the tacos were amazing! & their strawberry lemonade don’t even get my started ! it was fantastic. they do doordash gruhub so many different things. also serve junior cheese cake like whattt! nah it’s really a new spot for me & my boyfriend & i would highly recommend.Vegetarian options: i ordered cheese lettuce & salad & it was able to be made & offered tomato’s so i feel like you can ask if they can do a customized plate“
“We had a burrito and quesadillas. We spontaneously came across this cute and colorful little shop. The team was very warm and friendly. The food was fantastic. Beautiful fresh ingredients and so tasty and juicy too! We will definitely come back and can definitely recommend this lovely shop.“
“We went for brunch. We had a reservation for a group of 6. The place was a good vibe. The bottomless brunch was wellllĺ worth it. We each ordered a different dish. The food...phenomenal. We all enjoyed the 6 different dishes!! Can't go wrong in this place!! Can't wait to go back for their buffalo wing!“
“Love birria-landia in brooklyn and decided to come to the roosevelt ave location. This one definitely seems larger as they had a whole section for orders and things. Food is always good but i will say it did get pretty expensive. Downside is that parking in this area is difficult.“
