“I come often to this eatery for lunch. The owners are extremely friendly. The food is fresh and cleanly prepared in front of you. “I just ate here and everything was on point. The staff was welcoming and genuinely friendly, the kind of service that makes you feel taken care of as soon as you walk in. The food was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned you can tell they put pride into what they serve. The atmosphere is laid back and comfortable, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy a meal. And the prices? Extremely fair for the quality and portions you get.“

“Dos Toros has been my favorite fast casual Mexican for over a decade. The food has always been excellent. Further, nobody makes a tighter burrito. Shoutout to Jada today who made my burrito and perfectly! I didn’t lose a single grain of rice!“

“The Cheese Quesadilla is insanely delicious. Four thin tortillas are given with melted cheese and several condiments (salsa, guacamole, sour cream, two hot sauces). I ate with pleasure. This was my second visit here. The first time I had two tacos and preferred the one with carnita. I took two packets of freshly made tortilla chips home ($1.94). Addictive! Tacos Grand Central is a cozy no frills restaurant with a heavy door to enter and a slanted entrance floor. Table seating and counter are available. Most people order and take out. Four employees work here bringing out the kind of food customers like. I know that I do and plan to return as often as possible.“

“Tacos Comal is following what every taco spot in Ny is trying to do; and that is to mimic the ever popular Tijuana style taco of course originating from its name sake and an ever popular option in California. And just like these taqueria in NY that try to mimic the look is there but the flavor cannot seem to get it right. These tacos are 3.5, although I cannot give it in my review it’s not deserving a 4 but mediocre is not by any measure and definitely does not deserve a 3. It falls in a 3.5 category. It’s not that the flavor is bad, it’s more that I don’t taste the authenticity. The salsas were weak and the biggest saving grace of this taco spot is its tortillas, which are definitely delicious.
If you’re looking for a good New York taco this is your spot! If you’re looking for an authentic Mexico or California taco they are to be found elsewhere.“

I had just finished a late workout and was heading to meet up with friends when I needed some food. I saw the food truck and stopped by. I ordered the Al pastor burrito because I was super hungry which was $13. He melted the cheese which to me is always the most important thing and the rest of the ingredients are fresh and the meat was delicious.“

“This spot is so much better than the original in Greenpoint. There was no line when we went on a Thursday evening for dinner and we ordered right away. Our tacos were ready in about 3 minutes. They serve all different body parts of the pig. We were less adventurous and stuck with the classics- cheek, butt, belly, fried belly and tongue. The tongue was the standout, followed closely by the fried belly but I would 100% order any of those again. The tacos were perfect. There was plenty of seating so we were able to enjoy our tacos (and a little sink to wash your hands!!), and the service was so warm and efficient. 10/10 experience in every way.“

“Although they are a little pricey, coming here was a nice experience. The food was really delicious. I had ordered 2 orders of street tacos priced at $10-if you want chicken. My youngest got a mac and cheese from the kids menu which was priced at $12. The small guava drinks were $5 a piece. In total I paid $59! I didn’t expect to pay that much at all. If you’re on a budget, you may not want to go there. However, the restaurant was clean and cozy, the bathroom was clean and comfortable, and the customers were calm, respectful, and kept their voices down. Great environment overall, with good music!“
