Tacos al Gusto Forest Hills is a taco truck in Forest Hills in front of Starbucks. It is described as one of the best taco trucks, with delicious, reasonably priced and incredibly authentic food. The people that work there are so nice and the vibes are fantastic. The staff is very friendly and the environment is great. It is a great spot specially for late nights. The food is cheap and very flavorful. The $5 tacos is the best deal around and a 10/10. There aren't too many places you can find a filling meal in NYC for $5 anymore, and this Mexican cart serves some very good food, including 5 Taquitos Al Pastor for $5. That is a great deal. As for taste, there are certainly better tacos al pastor, but this one is not bad at all. Word of advice, definitely ask for extra onions and cilantro, as well as hot sauce. For $5, these taquitos are some of the best cheap eats in recent memory. The truck offers $12 tortas and $4 tacos. A beef torta had a lacking meat portion and the flavor was mediocre, like a 5. It was easy to order. As a 1 lady team, getting the order took a long time as she took orders when she could.
