The store portion of Ten Ren is solid, offering a wide variety of teas to purchase. There are plenty of great gift options and unique flavors, making it worth a visit if you’re a tea lover.
Unfortunately, the boba fell short. I ordered the Okinawa Green Milk Tea. It was served almost room temperature with barely any ice. The flavor leaned more towards a grainy milk than tea, and it didn’t stand out.
Overall, it’s an okay spot—great for tea shopping, but the boba could be better.
The experience at this store was wonderful this was because my sister and I went to this store and bought taro bubble tea and the drink was wonderful and sweet, also the store sells ginseng.
The service is so slow. The taro here is the original version that all other shops try so hard to imitate.
Unfortunately Ten Ren has degraded significantly in quality of their products over the past decade.I purchased a $6.50 ginger milk tea, and to my horror only syrup and condensed milk + hot water were used. You would think Ten Ren, who boasts about their tea quality, would use real tea leaves? There is absolutely NO TEA in this drink. To charge almost $7 for syrup and hot water is absolutely absurd. The profit margin is a highway robbery. It's only a matter of time before customers realize they've been swindled, and that's when they don't come back again -- me included.
Excellent service. Creative dishes and decor. Overpriced and overrated food.
Great customer service and nice selection of teas
Helpful service, high quality tea. The staff wants to make the customer happy.
I've got the coconut slush with tapioca pearls, yes it was . I also got the dry rose petals to flavor my loose leaf black tea. A great substitution for sugar. Finally some relaxing tea for meditation time. Price is excellent and quality is unrivaled❤❤❤ Highly recommended!
Best bubble tea in Queens! Better than all the chains - always consistent.
DO NOT GET SCAMMED. Just paid $20 to get a boba and the shop owner insisted I paid $10 only. In the end, I paid $16.50 for a drink that doesn’t even taste good. Beware of their tactics!

Tldr: sadly wouldn't recommend for boba but cannot speak on the experience of buying loose leaf!Like others, I also tried the 913 milk tea, which is popular, with half sugar and no ice. I was really hoping for a strong tea taste, but I was sadly IMMENSELY let down. For $6.50, it's seriously watered down and there is no strong tea impression. Sadly not worth at all. I'd easily suggest Chun Yang over Ten Ren based on my experience. Much more distinct oolong flavor for the same price post-tax.HOWEVER, I can't speak on the experience of buying loose leaf tea nor the quality of it, and it's been raved upon for its high quality. Staff is nice, and I felt welcomed!!
I tried the 913 ice milk tea, which was advertised as using good-quality tea leaves freshly brewed daily. They mixed the tea with evaporated milk and allowed you to choose your desired sweetness level. However, I must admit that I wasn’t impressed with the boba tea; it was just average in taste. Additionally, I found it to be on the expensive side.
913milk tea is delicious!
A little on the more expensive side, but the drinks at the counter are good!Big fan of the Pu-Erh tea!
They have all sorts of tea raven the most expensive and high quality
