The mac&cheese was a terrible disappointment…no crust, no tanginess, no flavor, they sprinkled some paprika on a microwaved sauce and served it in a skillet. You couldn’t even taste cheese in it. My friend got a burger and fries which were both mediocre at best. This bar is vibey enough to come for a simple drink, that’s all, do NOT eat there.

So, we went to an Italian restaurant for brunch and I had the smallest portion of pasta for 25 bucks. Literally ate it in 5 bites.
I was quite angry. As per usual.
So we decided that we should go get some cocktails and drinks. We headed on down to the baroness.
I got the swayzee burger and it was worth it 100%. I love smash burgers and these guys smashed it for real.
I WISH that they could make a smash burger in the style of White Castle, meaning steaming the bun with onions VS caramelized onions which, while great, get kinda sloppy.
Gotta get that tang on, ya know? Call it DeathByHermes if you do make a burger in that style.
Anyway, had their spicy boi beer and it was fantastic.
I highly recommend this place. Probably the best thing in LIC as all other places there are overrated. Ooooffff. Dems fightin’ woids… probably won’t be allowed back in LIC after that one.

This is a cool bar with a great selection of beers, but probably the worst grilled cheese I've ever had in my life. maybe 1/2 a slice of cheese on the whole sandwich, and it wasn't even melted. Like at all. I told the server and he was like, oh, I'll let the kitchen know. Zero follow-up, no mention of it later, I paid for everything (beers, fries - which were totally fine, grilled cheese) on the bill, plus a very reasonable tip; but maybe just stick to the beverages here. Kinda bummed, because I really think this place has the potential to do a LOT better. I also just really hate feeling dismissed like that.

We’re a party of four, currently on round 4 of drinks (beers and wine), and we’ve also ordered burgers and apps. No waiter ever came to us of their own volition, we had to call someone over every. single. time. Other tables have been helped as soon as they say down, they’ve had waitstaff checking in on them regularly, and every time we’ve needed to flag someone down. And that’s *if* they decide to stop. We even made direct eye contact while trying to get their attention. Before you ask, no they aren’t carrying dishes to the back. And the place is NOT busy. Yeah the bathroom is cool and you get a laugh and the food is good but honestly it isn’t worth it.

We headed to Baroness to satisfy our burger cravings. I was happy to observe that the new location had a substantial amount of outdoor seating, as my friends and I had previously visited their prior location. The service was great; they even provided a bowl of water for the pups. However, we were somewhat underwhelmed by the food. I ordered the Suzy Q with fries, the burger was not as juicy as I had remembered and the fries were only average. Additionally, their Titanic Bathroom is fun but its darkness renders it difficult to determine whether its ever cleaned, turning it rather unpleasant.
The service was excellent. The server was very patient, friendly, and explained the menu items. They were willing to make modifications as needed. We had prompt service and drinks were as ordered. The food was delicious. I feel everyone in a party was happy with their meals. The only downside was we were a party of six for dinner. The table were were at was not comfortable as it did not allow you to get your legs under it. The other tables for larger parties were narrow and seemed more for drinking than eating. All and all, it was a good experience and we would likely return.

Service & food was great. No complaints. My only issue is the bathrooms are nasty as hell. Upon entering, you’re hit with the pungent smell of piss. They could do a better job at cleaning it especially since it’s one of their main attractions. Turns you off from wanting to eat here.
