Nice ambiance with aerial hoop in the center of the dance floor for performances. The drinks were ok, but the food was surprisingly good. The sliders were fantastic and the croquettes as well. Claudia our server also went above and beyond.

Came to Newsroom with one other couple under their name for birthday drinks and aerialists. Very small place with only a handful of tables within view of the stage/performance area. A bar is located in the immediate center of the small room where bar patrons stand up directly behind those seated at squished tables and further obstruct their view. Service and management were all kind, but 3/4 cocktails were underwhelming, and we ended up choosing to leave early. Once the vocalist became deafening it wasn’t really a choice. We only had guacamole so I can’t sincerely comment on the food, but it was fridge temperature, which is not my personal preference. I think repurposed the speakeasy concept has the potential to be something special but is currently just hype.
